I'm still buying.

Accumulation period at my level of access is almost at a close.

I'll be switching my focus to alts accumulation soon. Let the whales carry Bitcoin.

Your right, I am ignorant of much on bitcoin. I would like to know more from yourself or others on a couple of the following questions. You are privy to quarterly regulation and rule changes with your clearinghouses that most of us would not notice.
What kind of fees are being levied now for liquidation? How fast can a position be cleared in to an account or pre-paid card?

Is the IRS minimum for filing taxes on profit on coins still $20,000?
Many states have and are continuing passing legislation removing taxes on gold and silver.

No point buying Ripple. Litecoin halving is near and the price has surged about 300% from the starting of this year. I consider Litecoin the best altcoin investment right now.

Litecoin is the best investment right now.

Keep in mind you're responding to a 2 year old thread.

Is this the standard year end sell off, or should I be worried?

I'm still holding.

I've been averaging in this entire time. I'm expecting BTC to hit the 6000s range. That will likely be our last opportunity to buy bitcoin at low prices before most are priced out in the coming year.

This is the second year where it hits five figure highs and then scales back like 40%. Do you suspect this sets a pattern, traders are curious to hear experienced opinions.
Can a holding be sold and cleared within 48 hours???

Yes. Holdings can be sold and cleared in that time.

We've all been at this for awhile now. We should be hip to the propagamisinformanipulation by now.

When the media is boasting a strong crypto stance, you should have sold yesterday. When they balk about it crashing and burning, you should have bought yesterday.

If were talking about it today, we missed the boat. Unless your pockets are very deep!

The volatility is part of the draw to speculators. Given that same high volatility, experienced opinions are difficult to root out and many strategies could apply and be profitable.

Hard truth is that this space can still be easily manipulated.

Considering the halving coming next year.

Anytime before it actually happens is a good time to buy.

2020 hopefully should be a good year.

I had a busy morning.

Increased my stake in $gbtc significantly.

Staking ALGO,ATOM,,Fetch,AI,Kava,One,Xtz On binance.

Increased my Coinbase holdings.

Btc,Eth,BCH,LTC,XRP.

And parked some benjamins in USDc to earn that interest.

I'm hoping the Bitcoin halving turns the market on it's head.

Think I'm positioned pretty well.

Even with my new computer build soon to be completed. Mining 'may' be a viable option once again.

Of course that really depends on A LOT. I expect January to be bumpy but thats par for the course.
