Bah, it still isn't even close to bottoming out as bad as it did last month.

I still think we may have a while of ups and downs, but I also think we're still in the pre-boom stage of this technology, and adoption.

At some point, there will be a HUGE influx of investment dollars into this market from more traditionally based firms, and it will all change overnight. The goal is to be well positioned BEFORE this happens. (but also to where if it doesn't, you don't lose the farm).

Hey Project,

Can I ask you what your expectations/concerns are with March upcoming? It seems that the buzz around is most are expecting March to be an up trend, but who knows right?

I know you said you wasn't going to make any moves until after Feb, are you still sticking to that?

Just curious on your take on the markets.

I picked up some XVG for .05.....I was reading on their focus about privacy and such. I don't know if I want to hold it though. I pretty much bought 350 to sell for a profit (I hope). It seems to be a popular coin and it seems to get pumped up from time to time. This will be my first attempt to actually hold and sell for a profit instead of hodl. Which of course of it tanks then the plan changes directly to hodl..lol

Looks like XVG have cracked the protocol, guy from school works with them, most of the team out partying last night celebrating.

Expect people to buy now, it tipped to hit a buck this year.

Well, if that is the case then it might be a hold.

I can only hope.

Day 10.

Day before yesterday it made absolutely nothing.

Already equal to my meager mining effort.

Holy crap!.

Goldman 'Backed' Circle just bought Poloniex!

In a move that could potentially legitimize cryptocurrencies even further Goldman Sachs backed payments company Circle has acquired US crypto exchange Poloniex. The acquisition aims to extend the firm’s commitment to a new vision for global finance and cement its position as one of the leading companies in the blockchain industry.

Honestly, this is really exactly part of what I expect to happen this year, and why I got in.

The big players see the potential, and are putting their foot into it. While it is a period of fluctuation, just as your "could be bad, could be good" comment points out...ultimately, I think it's (these bigger fish getting involved) what is going to fully legitimize crypto and lead to more adoption.

I'm now holding all of these.

Cardano/Ripple by two biggest stakes by coin.

Bitcoin by dollar.

cointelegraph.com...

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Stellar, Litecoin, Cardano, NEO, EOS

That won't be happening until after the first of the year. When it does Ripple will likely explode overnight.

Did you sign that desperate petition?

I sold my Ripple near the all time high it is the best move I ever made. I put it all into NEO (at a much lower price than it is now) and have accumulated a ton of GAS in the process.

Holding Ripple right now must be frustrating, my heart goes out to you. I will admit that at first I was in love with XRP, but the more research I did, I realized there were much better investments to make.

I'm sure since you've posted this thread you realized that Bitcoin isn't going anywhere as it is becoming more mainstream and institutions are willing to work with it and other technologies. XRP will be good for banking institutions, but I fear the XRP holders will not achieve the gains they imagined.

For me, it was (initially) such a pain to get, that I'll just hold on to it (XRP). I'm not really looking to get too much more of it anytime soon, unless it goes way down again.

I was going to invest in bitcoin cash but after a lot of reading into it, I'm going to pass. It seems that he new segwit system that is integrated into bitcoin transactions could hurt BCH. They did not adopt this technology and are behind the curve now.

I own Ethereum, Cardano, Stellar, Verge, Litecoin, and Vechain. Litecoin and Vechain being my least amount of holdings.

I am going to start investing in BNB here soon. Not only to cut my fees in half on Binance, but it also seems to be a pretty stable bet.

I really dislike how Binance doesn't trade in fractions of coins. I bought 4 vechain but only have 3.9 because of the way they take their fees. Now if I want to sell them I can only sell 3. I have been reading into it and people are upset about the amount of "dust" get left behind when trading on Binance.

Yeah.

That is a pain. Leaving money on the table unless transfer it off to a hardware wallet.

And that may not even work due to transfer limit's.

I had the same revelation about BNB coin. Seems it would make trading easier.

I disagree.

You see, I'm not a day trader, and with the spread of Ripple's tech and services, I expect price stability and fewer parabolic moves. That's a good thing.

XRP isn't my only holding, and I have taken losses on pretty much everything I hold except VeChain. I don't look at CoinMarketCap.com every day and do not concern myself with short-term market moves. That gets stressful.

I acquired 1.15 BNB and I wish I would have done it way before.

I checked out the new coin listed on Binance called NCASH. After doing some research on it, I decided to add it to my portfolio.

Lol, yeah it seems like they might be on to something. In the time of more security, this thing could possibly go somewhere.

I like the fact that they have a working model, Harvard innovators, and a crazy list of money investors.

Looking at their roadmap it is definitely a long term hold, but to me it seems like it may be promising. At .04 it isn't a very big gamble for me.
