Now I know why Bitcoin has been going up.

Go big or go home. That’s the motto of one mysterious investor who put his chips on the table, buying close to $400 million of the No.1 digital currency, bitcoin.

www.marketwatch.com...

$400 million.

Works out to around 35,000 bitcoins at the current price.

If I had $400 million?

I wouldn't have bought that much bitcoin.

Some people have more money than 'cents'.

Just curious: if you did have that much coin, what would you buy?

I believe in cryptos' potential and recognize it for what it's 'worth', and I believe in its long-term staying power; at one point it seemed you did too (not a 'pump and dump'), so what gives? Is it like instant scratch-offs? Is it a hobby?? Do you plan on exercising /employing a buy and hold strategy??? We all get lucky sometimes, but you seem to be 'chasing the dragon' -- allegedly, you were in a bitcoin position circa early June.

I always have been.

Real life has a way of getting in the way of plans.

I reduced some holdings, but never completely sold out.

I recall saying that before.

Ok, not gonna rake you over the coals about it, but "real life has a way of getting in the way of plans" doesn't cut it...are you living paycheck-to-paycheck, no, I can tell by your posts you're not destitute and could've easily stayed patient this summer -- I'm sure you remember declaring it wasn't a 'pump and dump' you were interested in. Alright, I'll leave you alone about it.

But what would you do with $400MM? I am curious, and I respect your takes.

Why don't you?

What I do is none of your business to begin with.

Litecoin Cash will spilt from the Litecoin blockchain at around 5pm ET (11pm GMT) on Sunday and will give every Litecoin holder 10 new coins for every one Litecoin they own.

You'll know by 5 pm today the real deal.

Word is that it just forked.

wait and see

I seen someone mention that on the LCC website it has forked, and another person mentioned in that Twitter feed that the website is down.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Didn't show up on coinbase/Poloniex/ Biance.

Don't have to do anything.

Airdrop for LTC Holders According to the official Litecoin Cash site, the fork happened at block 1371111. All existing Litecoin holders were credited with ten LCC tokens for every LTC they held at the time of the fork, but only if you used a Litecoin wallet that allows access to your private keys.

coincodex.com...

Nope.

I stay away from those.

With 400 million, I'd cash out, and be happy making single digit percent, just letting some of that sit and make money. Wouldn't need any risk.

And, I'd simply live like a king, as would my friends and family.

I'd also be really involved in charities with kids and animals, and the homeless. Pretty sure those would be my passions and keep me busy. But yeah, a lot of vacations and seeing the world too.

Well, I just joined the XLM team.

I was reading on Stellar and they have a lot of good news coming out of their camp with partnerships.

I am a little late to the .09 gain in the past week but I think the long term gains will heavily outweigh any short term dip, should that occur. This time my decision wasn't made from FOMO.

I have been looking into chart reading a bit and trying to understand a little more of the technical aspects of trading.

I need to diversify my portfolio a bit and this is the first of many transactions to come.

Thats not good.

Are you hitting the equivalent of a mid life crisis in crypto? Lol, just kidding. (ETA: seriously man maybe just try to relax the brain a bit and don't over think things)

I have been reading a lot and watching a lot of youtube videos from the crypto "experts."

My strategy hasn't changed much since the beginning. Only radical thing I did was pull out of Litecoin, just because I had some misgivings after hearing the founder cashed out. I got into a little bit of Ripple and a little bit of Stellar, and still want to get into a few more, but likely waiting for at least another minor dip, if it happens.

It was just a bit too crazy last month and this month, to invest much into it.

Doubled my Cardano holding.

Only thing I've done.

My bot isn't buying anything. Made $8 bucks last week. Had it 6 days now.

Doesn't really matter if it does buy or not. Btc's is still making a run.

The next projected payout from Nicehash is $12 bucks.

Hindsight being 20/20.

Should have went for the better video card than bot.

Nicehash is more consistent.

$GBTC is performing as expected.

Currently, it's having more gains than losses of course that can change in a heartbeat.

It has potential.

I sold my TRX and bought more Cardano. I pretty much lost confidence in Justin Suns business marketing approach. It wasn't that many anyways just a 288 TRX stake. I think if it does go anywhere it is going to be a long road ahead for Tron.

I am a bit concerned about Ethereum's founder Vitalik and his negative Twitter comments. He isn't helping the image of Ethereum and it seems he lacks confidence in his product. It seems that big money isn't investing as much in Ethereum as other coins at the moment.

I am thinking about buying more Stellar and possibly more ADA with some more of my Ethereum.
