I bet they supply insulin to diabetics.
Diphenhydramine to those who suffer allergies, vitamins to pregnant soldiers, birth control to those who arent. There are a lot of people dependent on medications for a full life.

It appears to me that some certain folks have lots of sexual hangups. I wonder about Viagra consumption... I bet the military doles them out like candy... Gotta keep the troops standing tall after all. (though apparently not too tall).

Look up.
That's my point flying right over your head.

The point is soldiers are not always men now. So saying they need to fight like any other man is just uninformed nonsense.

If trump said all elephants must now have purple spots you'd be be volunteering with a paint can and brush.

So you can't answer?. You just deflect. Tell you what answer my question then I will explain why being too tall is not allowed.

Because they can't fit into a tank, and because marching is no good with flat feet? I'm sure there are more reasons too.

In some countries you don't have a choice either. Every able bodied citizen must serve.

I'm not so sure they do a lot of marching these days. Companies don't march from place to place they ride in jeeps and trucks and big ass planes to get around. I don't wonder that this condition may come off the list. It should.

Also to do with the equipment, they ain't gonna tailor fatigues for very tall people. If they don't do it in your size you ain't getting in.
So now that's out of the way can someone explain why trans folk should be disqualified?.

Flat feet is a broad term it just means some type of disfigurement to someone's feet around 3% fail the physical due to this. The training can effect their physical wellbeing so they are disqualified.

No. Among many sources, here is one:

When civilians apply to join the military, therefore, they are required to pass a medical exam and to disclose information about their medical history. While not all medical conditions disqualify a person from joining the military, many do, and any type of diabetes generally does.

www.diabetesselfmanagement.com...

Same with allergies, although I'm sure it's on a case per case basis and how much reliance is placed upon the medication.

As per usual, your knowledge is, well, lacking.

How much would you like to bet that you can't get into the military if you are insulin dependant?

You guys are right, I just wanted to use a single, simplified example. They don't march into battle anymore but on average its better to exclude flat feet when you can afford it. I'm no expert though, I guess they could be put to use in a ton of various MOS's these days.

And yeah, equipment, ton of things to factor in there.

Point is that it's a fallacy to say that everyone else has to be let in if transgendered are. They can't take everyone, but they also can't take no one. If you are a conservative tweeter writing a tweet then you don't have to be too nuanced, but if you are a general planning for a potential war then you may have already realized, during your long and illustrious career, that not every health condition or physical/mental trait is exactly the same. For example, someone in a wheelchair would have a lot more difficulty than someone with ingrown toenails, even though both could in theory lead to your death in war, or hinder a soldier from completing his mission. The army is a huge organization dealing with real people, so you have to be realistic.

The DoD spends more on viagra for the troops than it does on hormones for women and Trans people.

And yes, the Dod DOES supply insulin to diabetic personnel. You are correct that if you have diabetes you can't sign up, usually, but if you develop diabetes while you're in uniform? As many do. They will treat you.

You don't get kicked out of the service for developing diabetes.

Just take the damned free at upon arrival $50,000+ conversion surgeries, which sometime takes year to recover from, out of the equation, and oh well move on its done.

If you pass the test you pass the test. If you don't you don't.

End of story.

Pretty sure drone operators can have flat feet by the way as are most flat foot conditions that have no symptoms.

Besides we probably use mercs for many things now a days.

I think rand already did a study and showed it's pretty much a rare and unconcerning problem.

It's like people boycotting the NFL for something .00005 percent of the players do. It's divisive politics and media propaganda.

Okay well when everyone else gets a free $50,000 signing bonus then come talk about it then. Or when all flat chested chicks get a free $50,000 boob job upon arrival.
