Aren't we still in an ice age?
Ice age is pleistocene. We are now in holocene which started about 10,000 years ago.

And is the Holocene considered to be an interglacial period?
Technically we are still in an Ice Age, the interglacial portion.
An interglacial period (or alternatively interglacial, interglaciation) is a geological interval of warmer global average temperature lasting thousands of years that separates consecutive glacial periods within an ice age.

Whats it called when the earth is neither in an Ice Age or Interglacial period of an Ice Age.

The smartest people on earth accept the concept of man made climate change. The smartest people, most educated on the matter.
Dumb people, uneducated people and the fossil fuel industry disagree with the smartest people and most educated people on the matter.
