Aren't we still in an ice age?

Ice age is pleistocene. We are now in holocene which started about 10,000 years ago.

And is the Holocene considered to be an interglacial period?

Yet there has been less extreme weather in the last decade. Another GW talking point debunked.

The smartest people on earth accept the concept of man made climate change. The smartest people, most educated on the matter.

Dumb people, uneducated people and the fossil fuel industry disagree with the smartest people and most educated people on the matter.

That is correct.

An interglacial period (or alternatively interglacial, interglaciation) is a geological interval of warmer global average temperature lasting thousands of years that separates consecutive glacial periods within an ice age.
Technically we are still in an Ice Age, the interglacial portion.

Whats it called when the earth is neither in an Ice Age or Interglacial period of an Ice Age.

Scientists don't know enough of climate to know if we are in an ice age or not. Personally, I think we are not.

The best marker is the raised levels of the Seas. Our present coastlines are about as high as they've been for millions of years. So, this is the best proof that we are in an interglacial period. Not rocket science, as more ice piles up on land masses, the sea levels fall. And when Eric the Red, named Greenland, it was still green, back then.

So, for the Greenland Ice fields to have piled up, and the sea levels are still topped out, we are definitely in an inter glacial period. But Greenland's ice, may be a harbinger of what's to come. It goes against the Paleo coastline levels, Historically, if Greenland's ice melts, ice somewhere else, seems to have picked up the slack, in the past.

We have a lot of ice on Greenland, and if we're still warming up, then the Paleo Coastline records, are in for a shakeup. And of course the Global Warming Alarmists are going to be crawling all over this. That is until several very large volcanic eruptions cool things off. And Iceland has some dilly's. My big question is, why, when the ice goes away, the volcanoes come out to play?? They seem to have regulated the slow creeping warming over millions of years.

Literally every prediction about global warming/climate change has been wrong. But sure let's keep believing it!
