Oh he’s lying alright and most of the time, it’s about as deliberate as a lie can get. If anything, calling him a pathological liar is an understatement.

You people really should quit trying to make excuses for his behavior, it makes you look bad.

Trump is a bold faced liar of epic proportions and for you to even attempt to compare his disorder with childhood innocence is absolutely pathetic.

As I said, repeating the initial claim isn’t proof of anything but your own persistence to spread a lie. You look bad.

No, you’re the one who looks like a fool if you think I’m gonna waste my time proving the falsities of Trump’s daily tweets and orations to you.

If you can’t even identify Trump’s most obvious lies for yourself, I doubt that I’m gonna change anything anyway.

Willful delusion is just that, it’s willful.

No I’m asking you to prove that they are lies, something that you or anyone here has yet to do. As I’ve now stated many times, simply repeating the charge isn’t enough, at least outside the mental kangaroo courts you call news.

Look. I voted for Trump and I have seen plenty of mis-truths come from his lips. Politicians do it no matter which side of the isle.

I would say quit trying to justify Trumps lies but I just don't see that happening for some reason.

So, care to point out any of the lies you claim he has said?

Ah, the fallacious argument "if you don't agree with my claims I am not going to prove them to you"... So in essence what you, and quite a few others claim is that people have to believe you without presenting any evidence proving your claims...

Literally the only evidence of lying you would even accept is a written or oral admission of intent from Donald Trump.

Because absolutely anything else will be based on assumption of intent.

This is such a ridiculous standard to request...

It’s well established that pathological liars will rarely ever admit to their lies...
So you take the safe approach of demanding a recorded testimony of the very man who is being questioned.

That’s so laughable.

So according to Dictionary.com, a lie has multiple definitions. This first is the one you seem to be talking about.

a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.

But there is also this, simpler, definition.

an inaccurate or false statement; a falsehood.

I have seen enough to know that the second definition is definitely true when it comes to Trump. As far as him intending to deceive - that is up for debate, he may be too stupid to know what is true or not.

The op has pointed out that the current President does not lie, that he often acts in bad faith, that there is no intent to deceive. The following can be stated:

The first thing to understand about politics is that if a person want to get elected will never tell you the truth. They will lie and do it to deceive and to mislead. There is no mistake in intention, nor is there any question as to if they are lying or deceiving at all. If they ever told the complete and absolute truth, they would never get elected.

Think about it, when was the last time you heard a politician say yes we are going to raise taxes, you don’t but all of them will say no new taxes, but they raise them every year. Oh they make big promises, convincing the masses to elect them into office, and often when there, either they never fulfill the promises made, or they do the exact opposite. And many times the politicians will agree with the people they speak to, or double speak, and then turn around and do the exact opposite.

But back to the topic at hand, does the president knowingly and with intention lie, yes, and he does it a lot. The more that a topic is brought up that the man does not want to answer or is closer to the truth, what does he do, he double speaks and often will deflect to another topic, trying to avoid it. And even when confronted with the evidence of his lie, he still denies it, knowing full well that it is him.

Now if he knows or is compulsive, that unfortunately is something we do not know. That would require a professional, a psychologist to give the man an examination and to determine such.

That's the point of the OP, from my perspective anyway. Who's to prove it? Moreover, how many arguments for or against the suppositions can you find in media at any given point in time?

Various Trump-haters have no qualms about calling President Trump a habitual or even a pathological liar. But they often run to examples that are not proven to be lies in order to prove their case. Are they, too, liars?

...

'

According to his detractors, Trump is a man of many talents - he's a moron, he's a lier, he's downright stupid, and ESPECIALLY a sex offender.

Lot's of talk. little proof so far. It's particularly laughable when what people MOSTLY are hung up on, are his words in that bus, where ALL he says is that you CAN grab women by the pussy.

Of course you can - some women will ALWAYS let a guy grab their pussy because they are either scared #less or they smell big money.

USA has come to a point where the urge to impeach a president because of not liking him really have people clutching at straws. Or yellow strands of hair, because his hair color is just not presidential.

The op is only asking for evidence of him lying... You still can't give one which means you have none and you make up some rhetorical bs about "you are asking him to confess"... That's not what the op asked... He asked for EVIDENCE and not claims from the lying mainstream media and the left who keep making false story after false story...

Care to point out an instance in which he lied?... Or is it that you all are too stupid to understand what asking for evidence means?

Have you not read the multitude of posts by multiple people; some even including evidence that he has lied (or told an "untruth" by expounding)--have you not heard him speak or read his own tweets? Tons are false and they are verified on audio and video.

And if, as the OP suggested, he 'didn't lie' because he is like a kid that still believes in Santa Claus:

Is that who you want as President? A child that says I didn't hit him after hitting them.

The sad thing to me is that the masses didn’t realise this, and a great many still don’t.
It’s like they think they’re smarter and more well prepared than the system, and even worse they firmly believe that they’ve upset the apple cart.

This really is the sad thing. There's a lot of heart and will for positive change but people have totally unrealistic expectations for how it should happen. Most of the time they are lashing out at their own painful illusions instead of the ones at the top of the pyramid. And there's no real plan or vision to it, it's all about what you can say to make people as hopeful or as scared as possible, either works.

It is about that and doing it to push a false agenda. One group more than the other was very corrupt. This last election process anyway. The media is on that obviously corrupt groups side. They appear to be D's and some R's involved protecting each other from their crimes. And clear as a bell to a neutral person, many who are not in that group even if they are an R party member that is chock full of all those RINO"s, that they are to be trashed by the media. Their is collusion using PC speech and tactics of the Bolshevik revolution. Being not an R or a D , I see treason and time to clean house.

What you don’t seem to understand is that neither I nor anyone else is under any obligation to prove to you the fact that Trump is a lying assed son-of-a-bitch.

Most of his lies are easily recognized by anyone with half a brain and if you’re having problems with the rest of them, look them up yourself.

In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s only yourself and other delusional Trumpettes who are having any difficulty distinguishing between his lies and the truth.

Coming from someone who thinks that “All fake news is coming from the left,” Please!!!!!

At this point in time, those of you who can’t see that Trump is a pathological liar don’t really need or deserve proof. Hell, what ya’ll are doing is deliberately denying the truth and you’re bordering on not even being worthy of pity, much less proof.

Now that I’ve responded to your post in this thread, maybe you could extend the same courtesy to me in your own thread. Unless of course, you’re afraid or you don’t have the “proof” to counter any of my claims.

True, if someone makes a statement out of ignorance it is not a lie. If he or she is then provided with the facts, but denies them and continues in their false belief, it is a delusion. Are you supporting having a delusional person in a position to start a global war?

Lets just leave it at "too stupid to understand what asking for evidence mean?"

Seriously, SEVEN pages in and all you got are run arounds and rhetoricals, one dude even looked up the actual definition of "Lie" and tried to spin it in some wierd way resulting in an absolute fail.

Did you really expect liberals to provide proof? their own news outlets can't provide proof without retraction, what makes you think these sychophants can?

You pretty much nailed it on understanding.
