In making these announcements, I also want to make one point very clear: This decision is not intended, in any way, to reflect a departure from our strong commitment to facilitate a lasting peace agreement. We want an agreement that is a great deal for the Israelis and a great deal for the Palestinians.

I think every one should back off let the Palestinians and the Israelis fight it out. Let them decide once and for all whose it is.
I think Israel would like that too. Axes vs tanks. You'd have peace then. You would also no longer have Palestinians.

Many charters of Islamic groups or countries call for the elimination of the state of israel.
Because "Israel" has been killing and oppressing their fellow "Muslims" since the Jews illegally occupied Palestine after WWII.

The Palestinians aren't against a peace plan, they just won't deal with the US anymore. Can you blame them?Way to go Trump.

Don't care if you call them purple people eaters. They were displaced. The Israeli are doing to them what the US did to the natives. slowly, or not so slowly, moved them out.

They are fools then..... any peace plan will most probably be brokered by the one nation who has done the most Peace deals in that region. Guess who that is?
Palestine should deal with the devil if it gets them the State they desire.
But No the Palestinians will always dither while generations of their Citizens languish.
Idiots.

They don't want peace they were offered a two state solution and the Arab world rejected it. They want the Jews removed completely from the area. Until they come to the reality thats not going to happen there will be no peace.

And for some reason none of that mattered.
Yet the U.S. moving a building, that is a step too far.
Jerusalem is site of the (EDIT: Dome of the Rock), one of three Holy Sites in Islam. How did you expect them to react when it was made a Jewish Capital City?
There never were Palestinians that was made up by yasser Arafat.

The temple of Solomon predates the Dome.
"Palestinians" are just Jordanian refugees.

How do you explain the fact that 17% of Palestine's population is Jewish then?

Someone's been rewriting history all right. That region was 30% Jewish in 1946. 88% four years later. Over a million non-Jews disappeared over that time.
