It's funny you post that. I'm play SW battlefront 2 right now and was just thinking about that Star Wars Atari game.
I loved it as a kid
I dug it out of my collection, just for you. See!

I still have my Atari 7800 and several games.I haven't had it hooked
up in many years so I don't know if it still works.I need to try to
hook it up and find out.My favorite games were Dark Chambers,River
Raid and Centipede.
River raid = awesome retro!

Just wondered if anyone remembered this game. I found it hard at first but compelling. I got much better at it as I played more.

Combat:

Combat had some the funniest glitches.
Oh the 70's😄
Frogger
DigDug
Loved those, i can't think of the name... it as a guy swinging on ropes in a jungle avoiding alligators and snakes.

Gosh that's a lot of games. Most of mine are in boxes, but I keep a few out that I enjoy most.
I'm a big fan of the JUST CAUSE 2 and 3, GTA V and the Call Of Duty series Black OPS especially.

Guilty pleasure are Hot Shots Golf and Everbodies Golf.

Oh heck yes!
Yars revenge is a classic!
It was actually featured on the walking dead.
Eugene was playing it in a few episodes

Still have my 2600.
I will whip you good at Robotron.
That's not a brag or a challenge.
It is a fact.
How so? When i kill on the real Williams Robotron 2084 arcade version using MAME? I also kill Berzerk and Warlords. You are a one button joystick. HA, Ha, Ha!
Remember the Atari thumb syndrome? See you at the kill-screen.

I was gifted an Atari ST many moons ago with a ton of games. It had all the classics with it.

The games I loved you could play for hours, castles, utopia, warmonger, populous.

A game I've been trying to find an equivalent to... Deuteros. Nothings itched that scratch

Now I'm thinking about all those classics you just can't find. Sim city 2000 for the PS1 or car tycoon, Pirates of the Caribbean.

We're spoilt for choice these days but at the same time everything is becoming more of the same in terms of gaming. It's nice to visit the classics.

I remember playing Pacman on Atari 2600 wising that the dots were round and that it turned his head up and down, looking more like the arcade version.

I still have a copy of "E.T."
The worst game ever made.
They pulled it from the shelves and buried most of them.
How the hell do you get out of that gawdanged hole?

I have heard that a lot on some atari and other retro game groups on facebook. Some actually defend and love the game. I have never even tried it even though I have the rom for it on the stella emulator.

I had an Atari 2600 as a kid. It was one of those sleek ones with the black casing and brushed stainless steel accents. Sometime around 1990 I think. I know when I was still playing my Atari, a lot of the kids I went to school with were going on and on about some new Nintendo thingamajobbie. Whatever.

I liked playing Defender, Moon Patrol, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Dig Dug.
