I remember those days... you had to wait 5 minutes for the TV set's tubes to warm up. They would cast a soft warm glow on the wall behind the set; rabbit ear antennae with aluminum foil "signal enhancers"... we did all of that to receive a good strong TV signal from Pittsburgh.

The WORST thing ever? When those beloved shows were preempted by a Presidential address... ALL 3 networks would carry it. Yes... ALL 3 networks.

The "Charlie Brown Christmas Special" is both iconic, and timeless. It always makes me feel like a kid again.
