You don't even know what that information was, it was by unnamed sources, and they could just as easily written almost exactly the same story about this and pasted on the headline I wrote, and here you are, telegraphing your outrage.

I think I've proved my point.

i suppose if your point is that you want to pretend someone is outraged about something you so you can be outraged about that, you've proved that ably.

it's a fun sport here on ATS, after all. you're in good company.

Not at all.

My point is that how something is written about matters.

You don't even know what was talked about at that meeting in the previous story ... no one does, but because they presented it as an irresponsible leak of classified intel, you're upset about it.

But, for all you know, the intel Trump provided to Putin was classified intel. However, since this time, it was presented differently ... as a life-saving sharing of information ... you are completely sanguine about it.

i defy you to find a leftist who thinks we shouldn't have shared the intel.

try harder, people.

Wouldn't a true leftist always support Russia? Just saying.

They use to like Russia.

Until they supposedly hate them.

So much for.

Oceania was at war with Eastasia: Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia. A large part of the political literature of five years was now completely obsolete. Reports and records of all kinds, newspapers, books, pamphlets, films, sound-tracks, photographs — all had to be rectified at lightning speed. . . . Within one week no reference to the war with Eurasia, or the alliance with Eastasia, should remain in existence anywhere. —

The concept you are trying to portray is not being understood.. I call it "framing" you can tell the same story 10 different ways..

One was highly sensitive Intel was given to Russia
In the other highly sensitive Intel was given to Russia.

I'm amazed people don't reframe stories on their own terms.

The "news" already knows their "mark" they know what you want to think.. then they feed your anger or fear.. Which you know is the path to the dark side.. seriously the last time Americans were scared we started blowing up multiple countries.. fear and anger are extremely dangerous, but easily exploited as well..

So you have trump.. people hate trump.. feed their hate and confirmation bias fuels the story.. now it's believable in that framing..

I don't like Trump myself though I don't hate him, but it's crazy to watch how easily people are conditioned by baseline psychology.

Framing visual representation

Russian President Vladimir Putin telephoned U.S. President Donald Trump Sunday to thank him for a CIA tip that helped thwart a series of bombings in St. Petersburg, the Kremlin said.

During the call, the two leaders' second in three days, Putin expressed gratitude for the CIA information. The Kremlin said it allowed Russia's top domestic security agency to track down a group of suspects that planned to bomb Kazan Cathedral and other crowded sites this weekend.

"The information received from the CIA proved sufficient to find and detain the criminal suspects," the Kremlin said.

Nice to see that we can work on some common goals, even with the whole Russia narrative that is going on.

So sick and tired of Trump/Putin destroying democracy around the globe, this must be fake news to make dear leader look good.

I mean this is coming from RT, obvious propaganda from start to finish....

/sarc off

I wonder if there shall be any calls for impeachment over this, quite literally nothing would surprise me coming from CNN/MSNBC, there must be a way to spin this!

i wonder why everything is always about the right or the left to so many.

i wonder what drives this division so perpetually.
i just want to know what or how the ones who made this about a 'side', the thought process that compelled you to post what you did.

You got to be kidding me just another cheap shot to spread disinformation (Disinformation is intentionally false or inaccurate information that is spread deliberately. It is an act of deception and false statements to convince someone of untruth).a reply to: pavil

That's not collusion, tard, it's called diplomacy and it's been happening since the dawn of time. Government's talk to each other every freaking day. Get over yourself.

It's natural that Trump would share info that helps keep Putin in power. After all, Putin helped Trump win.

They are buddies and pals. If Trump helps Putin today, Putin will help ensure Trump gets re-elected in 4 years.

They each have the others backs.

As already explained, depending on how the press chooses to write about it, it can be portrayed as collusion or at least as evidence of such.

The Democrats and liberals who hate Russia don't even know why.

Putin is Satan apparently even though many of them don't believe in such a thing.

Now if Clinton was in charge, what do you think she would have done?

She talked a more confrontational game. But that was her public posture, which doesn't always agree with what she actually thinks as per her wall street speeches. One would hope she'd have done the decent thing.

In the interests of basic human decency, one would hope she would have done the same although one suspects she would have tried to bargain with it in some way. For all we know, Trump expects an exchange as well.

And prior to Trump and election 2016, when Crimea happened, the right were lambasting Putin on what a despotic, evil tyrant he is that kills off his competition and naysayers, and rules his people with a deadly iron fist, and was only out to land grab.

Ive sat back and watched you guys literally flip flop sides, knowing full well you were being hypocrites, but doing it anyway in the name of cheer-leading your "Star Quarterback" .

It would be amusing if it wasnt so blatantly ignorant
