ATS is not a a conspiracy forum.

It’s much more of a right leaning political forum.

If a state actor was trying to insert some kind of fake narrative into the mind of the electorate would be to promote fake news in social media and inset them into the MSN and altern media.

Hitting a forum like ATS would be kind of pointless, if the Russian state post something spectacular enough on RT then its a bit of a given that someone will eventually post it on ATS.

You must have missed the parade of one or two day accounts some not even a day simply hours that were popping up and getting banned. It's still happening. Pay attention to new accounts that get banned right away or look at old accounts that mysteriously become active again after years of inactivity. Those ones don't get banned as quickly if at all. That's just something I've noticed. They all of a sudden start posting again and they are always in the political forums. Now it could just be that these old members are suddenly interested in the boards again after being away for years but it seems like a lot to me.
Complete speculation on my part.

Here is the foolproof formula to work out if someone you are talking with is a Russian troll.

Step 1: Ask yourself, do they hate Trump?
- If yes, stop here, not a troll.
- if no, proceed to step 2.

Step 2 : Am I still upset that the election did not go my way?
- If no, I actually don't care and have moved on.
- if yes, move to step 3.

Step 3 : Is the person saying what I want them to say?
- if yes, not a troll
- if no,..... 100% Russian troll on the payroll of Putin

Dude, if you think the current conspiracy theories surrounding what is happening in DC have much to do with specifically defending Donald Trump, you must be very, very young and cannot really remember the Clinton years. No one does conspiracy like the Clintons, and no one is more deeply dug into the DC power structure than the Clintons and their minions.
