Yep. This is what I love about conspiracy forums. I don't know if all these people are for-real or if some of them are just trying to generate clicks, but conversations typically go like this:

1) Click-bait nonsense is posted
2) People shout about how insane it all is (most of them without reading the article)
3) Someone shows up and explains how the OP is mostly paranoia and hyperbole by quoting actual facts
4) Everyone just ignores it and continues screaming bloody murder

Maybe we can get Trump to tweet kudos to the DOD for taking measures to protect soldiers (cause why would conservatives care about them) and civilians (but just the trump supporters) from the obvious threats while at the same time promoting research into a field that could cure cancer and stop disease carrying infestations of mosquitoes/rodents everyone would call him a genius.

Kind of like your attitude drips with the yearning for militaristic imperialism. And after generations of this behavior now its a good idea to instigate an exotic Brave New World of genetic weapons ARMS RACE, because, oh, the soldiers need to be "protected". Now do you folks think these companies such as 23andMe and others just want your DNA to help you determine your ancestry? Ha! Check out the early startup connections of these genetic testing companies. You will find Google and of course, Google (Alphabet) and DARPA are connected at the hip.

What do they need Area 51 for?

They've got the entire national University & Laboratory infrastructure hooked up as one, interlocked in while Industry, as one virtual AGI Manhattan Project for all this kind of stuff (that would be like comparing the original Manhattan Project with Sega Master System versus Playstation 4).

The researchers in the universities the bulk of them dont even know the true implications of the tiny little projects they're doing. But DARPA they're at the top of the pyramid, directing the downward the solicitations of the missing modules, collecting them all at the top, in lockstep with the Big Tech firms, etc.

Its hardly a conspiracy, ts right in their website. Its just that the news never ever reports on any of it with anything resembling context. The MSM is part of the same system ultimately, just like how the SJWFRONT has been steady steamrolling out of the Universities. The Social Engineers that have been cooking up the entire SJW Movement, they're armed with the cognitive research coming from out of all the DARPA/DISA/NSF + Google + IBM + etc etc etc roundtable groups companies think tanks etc engaged in all this kind of research.

Well if you discover, for example, that most Russians have a particular "gene" in their DNA, then you could wipe out the entire Russian army by dropping a virus from the air that just eliminates Russians, while not harming wild life, nor any American staff that might be working at embassies nearby...etc..pin point accuracy. I think that's the idea. Better than smart bombs.

Call it precision targeted DNA level extinction weapons.

The sources for the OP were documents obtained through FOIA requests and scientists proficient in the field. As for stopping it, my guess is you would need to master time travel first.

Whoever thought of this idea played way to much Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare. This was the premise behind the villain.
