The ting is that controversial issues and topics are a lazy way to get some fast publicity..

If I put up a well edited YouTube video pushing flat earth. Not only those who agree will watch it.

Those who think I’m an idiot might watch it for a laugh.

Those who want to debunk it will watch it.

Maybe even just those curious to see what all the hype is about will too..

It is like putting “black “ in the title of your cause.. some will instantly support you, some will attack you. Either way you get lots of traffic and publicity.

I will bet dollars to donuts that those debunking it and making fun of it have done more to spread the idea than anyone.
