Bitcoin is around $10,000 Stellar Lumens is around .10 cents. The upside in theory is higher on a Stellar. And the rpoduct for Stellar is moving cash from one point to another with little cost, safe and fast.

So...basically cryptocurrencies have become nothing more than stocks that can go bust.

I thought one of the ideas behind bitcoin was to reduce the "investment" part of the currency..it was meant to be limited. Now we have cryptos everywhere, most which likely have little validity to their existence...

I went to the bank to send some money to buy Stellar Lumens. They said it would $25 and take 3 days to get to Brittex. The system is older than credit cards.

Stellar Lumens and Ripple are looking to make sending money take 3 seconds and at a cost of almost nothing. This is a "product" that I can see a need for.

And to your point, if it can be exploited it will be, hence the pump and dump for many investments, not just the crypto.

dont invest in ripple. Ripple is the bankers cryptocoin. They are not decentralized and they are owned by the private banking industry. Do not invest in Ripple. The whole point of cryptocurrencies is to decentralize the banking system and not deal with centralized bankers. Ripple is the bankers crypto. Stay away from Ripple if you want to help the world.

If someone is looking to make money as an investment, then Ripple maybe a good one.

If someone is looking to protest the man, Ripple may not be for you.

Edit: how do you feel about stellar lumens?
