Just my two-cents based solely on watching the video...
I think this is a hobbyist programmer that stole an idea from another Game Theory video (several, actually) to code a fake game using real events as a
"hidden but not really" backdrop in an attempt to either drive up views or potentially hype for a game to be eventually released.
The only evidence the game exists is from the guy releasing the videos, who is probably also the programmer. Consider the similarities with his way of
doing this along with the other Game Theory that Five Nights At Freddy's is actually about a killer, don't know about that? Check out this
Youtube playlist if interested. It's not bad entertainment, I
guess, if you're bored and have nothing else to do.
If there was some kind of proof of the game existing before all the stuff in real life happened, I could potentially believe there was more to it. But
all evidence of its existence is after the fact. The door that happened to open on the right day... yeah... if you're programming it to do that or
only showing it can do that on a specific date to line up with real life events, it makes perfect sense.
I think this is essentially exploiting a pretty dark situation for Youtube views and potentially money if his videos are monetized.
ETA: The creepiest game ever made (possibly/probably not) will always be Polybius.
