It is indeed easy to call stupid people stupid, particularly when they are stupid which the guy who did these videos certainly is.

Who do you think is lying to you and why? Why do you choose to believe any old nonsense on YouTube? Did it ever occur to you that most FE's on YouTube also happen to be religious nutjobs?

First astrolabe was invented around 200BC. That’s about 300 years AFTER Pythagoras and about 100 years after Aristotle.

The point is that the Astrolabe works on both models so saying that you can tell it is a ball by the North Star is not true.

Um. You don’t know that the North Star goes further down the further south you go, to the point of it completely disappearing over the horizon? Same in reverse for the Southern Cross.
