Looks like some papers have been released (with redactions) that seem to confirm beyond speculation that some reporters were paid to push the Trump dossier.

Company people are claiming the "payments" were for research assistance !!

I'll bet it was for "research" alright !!

Ankle deep to knee deep to neck deep

Lots of dirty money with this whole thing.

Fusion GPS paid journalists, court papers confirm

Newly filed court documents confirm that Fusion GPS, the company mostly responsible for the controversial “Trump dossier” on presidential candidate Donald Trump, made payments to three journalists between June 2016 until February 2017.

The revelation could be a breakthrough for House Republicans, who are exploring whether Fusion GPS used the dossier, which was later criticized for having inaccurate information on Trump, to feed anti-Trump stories to the press during and after the presidential campaign. The three journalists who were paid by Fusion GPS are known to have reported on "Russia issues relevant to [the committee's] investigation," the House Intelligence Committee said in a court filing.

But the recipients' names, the amounts, and purposes of those payments were either redacted from the documents that Fusion GPS filed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia or were not disclosed.

Did Fusion redact them to make everything more mysterious?

Or is it possible that they redacted them to hide something.

I noticed a new trend in foot wear . Someone posted a vid of pics of politicians and they noticed some of them were wearing these boots . Call it a Qboot or what ever but John McCain seems to have decided to change his injury or at least which leg he wears his Qboot on

It proves in no uncertain terms that the media cannot be trusted. If only there was a way to drain the swamp in media. I'm doing my part by not watching TV news at all and reading Internet news articles where I can at least have multiple sources to try and filter out the hard-core left/right leaners. Then I come to ATS!

Strange that Fusion paid journalists to print crap about Trump. Most journalist do it happily for free.

It looks to me like Fusion GPS is a private propaganda firm. From the OP article:

Additionally, a filing by lawyers for the House Intelligence Committee asserts that Fusion GPS “brokered meetings for dossier author Christopher Steele with at least five major media outlets in September 2016, including Yahoo news.”

...

Page currently has a defamation suit against the parent company of Yahoo for the article published in September of last year.

I bet Yahoo settles otherwise they'd have to face discovery and I seriously doubt they want anyone dissing around too deeply on this.

Fusion has asked the court to issue a restraining order against the House committee, which is demanding documents from the company that, among other things, explain the payments it made to reporters. Most of the documents sought are banking records.

... can you put a restraining order on an investigative committee?

''You smell that? it smells like desperation!''

Of course he/she lied, never mind the glibness contained in the link that states criticism of the dossier as if this is something universal, which is far removed from the truth when the seriousness taken of the dossier by those who know more than the rest of us is without question. Any criticism of the dossier we already know comes from all the usual really fake news sites that play follow the leader. This is just another hoaxy thread time out of number from the same source...is this what ATS is now about?
Okay then, I go with the new ATS, the dossier is completely fake, men never landed on the Moon because the Earth is really flat, and Donald never grabbed any woman's cat, and that my arse is really my elbow because a Leprechaun told me so..right?

I honestly think you should get some rest. Nice blanket generalizing statements back there, really shows you're not a raging teenager.
