The word Good

I'm very surprised that no one has come up with:- take nothing away from good (that's a o) and you have god. So god must be good with nothing taken away.

Love is lots of little acts of kindness and affection without any expectations for reciprocation. Why is love so hard to understand?

There is 'Agape' which is pure love given without expectation. So called, courtly love.

But in the West - our ideas of love get mixed up with sex, power and ownership.

PS - Agape is a Christian term for Love. But I find it interesting that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son...." and if God's love is Agape then we don't own him a thing, nor is belief required to be loved by the supreme being.

Once again it speaks to the dichotomy of the absolute (ideal archetype) vs the relative (living in the real world).
