Never had dog, but the diaries of the Lewis and Clark expedition noted that the dogs that Natives raised for food were very good eating, while wolves tasted terrible.

I visited France and thought that perhaps I had eaten horse there. It was a steak, and it didn't taste like any beef that I had ever eaten before or since.... I can't say that it was good.

Apparently moles taste about as bad as you would imagine they taste.

I have read accounts that prairie dog has an earthy taste that is not very palatable.
But there were Native American tribes that relished them, while other tribes shunned them.
It may have been a cultural thing.

Well, to be fair--and hear me out on this--if the borders hadn't been so open and the refugee not let in, this wouldn't have happened in Berlin (most likely).

That said, the demonization basically is against the open-borders policy and not the "an entire group," like you seem to think. I'm not even a conservative and I can figure that out.

As for the story, it's gross, not matter how you want to put an ignorant politicised spin on it.
