Oklahoma woman sentenced for incestuous marriage with birth mother

Misty Velvet Dawn Spann was 25 years old when she married her mother Patricia Spann, 42, in Sept. 2016, according to Oklahoma District Court records. Misty now faces a 10-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty to that incestual marriage, according to CBS affiliate KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Records also state that Patricia thought the marriage was legal because her name was no longer on Misty's birth certificate.

KOTV points out that Patricia married her biological son in 2008, but that was annulled in 2010 after he called it "incestuous."

I know someone's going to come in screaming sexual deviancy and thanks, Obama and all that jazz, but I seriously do not think it's a matter of perverted sexual kinks. For this woman to do this not once, but TWICE with her own biological children screams major mental health issues, likely for all 3 (inherited? conditioned?)

What really gets me is she admitted to marrying her daughter in hopes of adopting a kid. Lady...you already lost all yours before, I doubt even the worst agency would let you adopt after their background check was done & they put 2 & 2 together with the daughter-wife.

No F's given on my part, apparently no source is "trustworthy" anymore.

And in all reality, it's in pockets country-wide. Alabama & West Virginia are the most commonly mocked examples, but other states ain't saints, either.

I did. It is two different photos. One of a young woman, and one of an older woman. What about it is photo shopped? And yes you do have to prove it, if you claim it.
