I guess Australia just defers from other Commonweath countries in that respect. We have our remembrance day on the 25th of April and call it ANZAC day.

Thanks for clarifying that, I saw images of your prime minister laying a wreath so was puzzled by the other members comments that 11/11 wasn't remembered in Australia.
