Trump attempted to go to DMZ but had to turn back because of weather!

Seoul (CNN) President Donald Trump attempted to make an unannounced visit to the demilitarized zone between North Korea and South Korea, but had to turn back because of bad weather. He was aboard Marine One en route when they had to return, according to reporters traveling with him.

Phew, I'm glad he didn't order them into the storm and crash Airforce One! [correction: it was Marine One]

I can just see Trump thinking this through and thinking to himself that someone really messed up in allowing the decision to be made in the first place, because now the weather has made him look bad and you know what they're going to say...

So he's not sure what to Tweet...thinking about it.... "No, God did NOT prevent me from visiting the DMZ"... nah, um.... "I'm going there, weather permitting..." not bad..

MUST he go there now, pre-announced this time?


Btw, I don't mean to make anything out of this really, but I know that many will, so I thought I'd post this in the Political Mudpit and then sit back with popcorn...

No it's just breaking now. Didn't know where else to report the news other than the mudpit, because of how people will spin it, particularly in the MSM.

Trump tried to make a surprise, unannounced visit to the Demilitarized Zone, and was turn away by a storm, and had to turn back.

Will he brave the storm in an army helicopter dressed in a flight suit? Become like a warrior and be seen braving the raging winds to peer with binoculars at the North Korean dictator, peering back at him..

He will probably load up a Hercules transporter with tons and tons of McNuggets, order them to be dropped onto the starving NK soldiers at the border in a gesture of goodwill, and be blamed for potentially killing them due to a sudden vitamin overdose, given their dietary restrictions.

That's the impression that he wanted to portray, one of strength and covertness, but he was turned away by the weather.

Kimmy will certainly run with this, although I hope they don't get into a tweet storm over it until the nukes fly..

So. There was a storm. It was dangerous. They didn't proceed. Why is this news? Why do you feel there is something to discuss here on a logical decision?
