Given their line of work, I would think protecting client and contractor confidentiality is important. We know Congress can't keep a secret. Hell,
some of their work might even involve members of the committee and almost certainly their colleagues. They might be trying to prevent the revelation
of something completely unrelated.
Nonetheless, I expect that the TD Bank records will eventually be supplied to the House Intel Committee. At this point, the public interest is
significant. And frankly, I don't have much sympathy for them. The only way any of this will ever be resolved is if the facts are exposed, whatever
they may be.
