Syria indicates it will join Paris climate accord

With Syria joining the Paris Climate Accord the US is now the only member nation of the UN who won't participate. This is because Trump thinks what we have now is a bad deal from the US perspective. Postinh this from my cellphone so forgive the absence of pictures.

"Syria plans to join the Paris climate accord, an official from the war-ravaged country said Tuesday, a move that leaves the United States as the only United Nations member state not supporting the agreement.

While the United States ratified the 2015 Paris Agreement last year, President Donald Trump announced in June that he wants to pull out unless the U.S. can get a better deal."

This may be a Trump diss on the part of Syria but it also be for a good reason. What does ATS think?

I think that it's easy for takers to line up for cash and economic benefits and then complain when the cash cow doesn't want to cooperate.

Also, Syria must think there is a chlorine and sarin gas exemption...or maybe they think there are chlorine/serin gas credits available.

Paris Climate Accord and the UN are a joke. USA should have little to nothing to do with any of it.

It is crazy how many leaders of countries are BSed by that Paris Climate deal. I am actually a person who believes in conservation and love the woods. I have read enough about what this Paris Climate scam is proposing. It is nothing more than a scam, they are just collecting money and wasting it to boost economies by altering infrastructure and promoting buying new stuff. It is an Economic boost, not an environmental conservation boost. How can you save the environment by boosting sales of technology which causes harm to the environment when it is created. It's a sham and I now think Syria is joining it to show they are allies in this with the EU to try to get the EU to back their efforts to get rid of the American backed people trying to overthrow them.

The Paris Climate Accord is really a Globalist wealth redistribution scam. Without the U.S. paying for everything it falls apart. A bad deal for the U.S. is an understatement. Trump definitely saved us on this one.

In other news, Syria is also selling it's 1989 Ford Escort, will part exchange for hybrid.

There's agenda to destroy Western civilization and downgrade it to the level of the rest of the world, the Paris Climate is just one means to an end to achieve that.

Trump made a great decision pulling out of the agenda. If only it was possible to pull out of the UN...

They pretty much admit they need control of the world economy to fight climate change. I also found a little gem they would like a Carbon tax of their own to finance their takeover.

Syria needs money which the climate accord would provide to them as an undeveloped nation in order to mitigate the affects of climate change. They work out of the win side of the equation, and in case you haven't been keeping up with current events, they are working through a civil war that has more or less trashed their nation. Free money from big, rich, stupid nations is just what they need.

Have you seen pictures of Syria lately? Not exactly what I would call an environmentally conscious bunch. You'd think they have more critical things to worry about like ending a war.
