Pedophile Weiner begins 21 month sentence today

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner surrendered himself to federal authorities on Monday, officially beginning his 21-month jail sentence for exchanging sexually explicit material with a 15-year-old girl in January of 2016.

The New York liberal turned himself in to the Bureau of Prison’s Federal Medical Center in Devens Massachusetts, approximately 40 miles west of Boston.

Given what the NYPD has had to say about what was found on this vile POS's computer, he is lucky he flipped and only got that.

The rest shall continue to fall, the sickness these people are engaged in must come to an end for any kind of progress to happen.

I hope he gets put in general pop, although part of his deal was probably to not step anywhere near that place.

Too easy.

The feds could have treated him the Jared Fogle way (ie. conducted an undercover sting operation, for four years, resulting in a charge of distributing and receiving child pornography and a charge of traveling to have sex with a minor).

In Fogle's case..he thought he was traveling to meet a 17 year old girl. I bet Weiner would have traveled for this 15 year old....or another minor girl.

In Fogle's case, the feds got the tip from a woman who said he made salacious comments to her about middle aged school girls. In Weiner's case, the actual child came forward publicly with the story of Weiner's salacious comments made directly to her.

But, the FBI must have thought Weiner wasn't so bad he warranted the four-year undercover sting operation *style* Jared Fogle treatment.

Totally makes sense, no?

ETA: Oh, and in Fogle's case...he was sentenced to 15 years.

Wow, I thought he was untouchable. I thought he was in the 'in' crowd.

2 years is light....makes it seem like some sort of deal was cut doesn't It? Funny how the warrant for his laptop covers Clinton emails as well....

I just think if Fogle warranted a 4 year undercover sting operation...so did Weiner. So the narrow investigation (that included that laptop) appears to have been very controlled.

I wouldn't be surprised if Weiner has done other things in his past that just haven't come to light. Pedophiles have a record of engaging in sexual touching and molestation of young children throughout their life. I doubt he's any different.

His sentence doesn't surprise me, considering government officials and the rich are always given lax sentences. They rule and control the hen house!

As far as i'm concerned any pedophile who gets anything less than the death penalty has not received a punishment suiting the crime.

Piece of # will probably get put in a special institution with his own kind being pampered in some ridiculous rehabilitation scheme to protect his sick hind from other types of criminals. Pedophiles do not last long in normal prisons.
