Senator Rand Paul attacked at home

Sen. Rand Paul was assaulted inside his own home in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Friday afternoon, police say. He suffered a minor injury.

Kentucky State Police have arrested the senator’s assailant, identified as Rene Boucher, 59, of Bowling Green for intentionally assaulting Sen. Paul inside his home, causing minor injury, according to WBKO.com.

Boucher was arrested and charged with one count of 4th degree assault – minor injury. He was taken to the nearby Warren County Detention Center.

It’s not immediately clear what sparked the assault, but an investigation has been launched by local authorities.

Officials for Sen. Paul’s office say that the former presidential candidate did not suffer any major injuries.

"Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault," Kelsey Cooper, a spokeswoman for Paul, said in a statement to thehill.com. "The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police. Senator Paul is fine.”

2nd conservative congressman attacked this year. We don't know the motive yet, but if it's political I wonder if Dems will finally tone down their divisive rhetoric. Enough is enough.

It is November 4th.

And Rand was on the baseball field when Scalise was shot. He dodged the bullets that day.

Being Ron Paul's son, he's the greatest long term threat towards the SJW agenda to divide the nation and stomp out libertarians and conservatives, so he a more strategic target than Scalise actually was.

EDIT: And do note that when Scalise was shot ATS's resident SJW Horde lit the board on fire derailing threads, deflecting the criticisms if not outright overtly defending the shooter.

Apparently happened on Friday. Guess I was wrong.

Sucks that people are being targeted by certain groups in America though.

This is happening at their homes now?

That's no good.

It shouldn't happen anywhere, but their homes, where their families reside?

Scary.

Just a coincidence this happened on the day of Antifa's attempt to overthrow the government? I think not.

Meanwhile US continues to try and overthrow Africa...

Divisive rhetoric is what keeps their party alive.
Without divisive hate, they would be lost.

Congressman (not senator) Steve Scalise was shot among 4 other people earlier this year by an Antifa-linked individual.

The shooter was specifically targeting Republican representatives.

As much as I don't care for phony libertarian Rand Paul, this awful and there is no place for violence. It's somewhat odd that the Boucher is not being charged with illegal entry or anything like that, at least yet.

Nope.

He deserved it.

He shouldn't have done all of that dog-whistle-blowing...
He shouldn't have spoken about conservative ideas...
He shouldn't have disagreed with the left ever...
He shouldn't have been white...
He shouldn't have been male...
He shouldn't have been straight...
He shouldn't have been a person of means...
He shouldn't have been...at all.

Next.
