She is now losing credibility. Should join ats.
Donna Brazile is a good candidate for an "Ask Me Anything" thread.
Do we have to secretly give her the questions ahead of time?

Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home. She wonders whether Russians had placed a listening device in plants in the DNC executive suite
At first, Brazile writes of the hacking, top Democratic officials were “encouraging us not to talk about it.” But she says a wake-up moment came when she visited the White House in August 2016, for President Obama’s 55th birthday party. National security adviser Susan E. Rice and former attorney general Eric Holder separately pulled her aside to urge her to take the Russian hacking seriously, which she did, she writes.
In context it sounds like she's blaming the Russians for Seth Rich.

Dude, Hillary killed my dog, ate my last ice cream sandwich, gave me AIDS, slashed my tires and bought the last bag of potato chips at the store.
Now that Obama isn't in office, I guess Hillary is the fall back scapegoat for everything.
She's both old and senile, and a criminal mastermind at the same time. Quantum Hillary folks, the far-right invented boogey man to keep little Rush Limbaughs up late at night...
Do you understand the implications of her stating this? She is basically inferring she believes Seth Rich was killed by Hillary, and that she feared the same fate for knowing what she knows.

No, that's what you're inferring from reporting that paraphrases what she said in her book, reporting that doesn't suggest that at all.

every new thing from brazile sounds a little more whack than the one before. she considers normal, above-board joint fund-raising agreements and hiring oversight as 'rigging', yet thinks that she had the power to unilaterally replace hillary with someone who wasn't even trying to run?
she thinks acupuncture is a good treatment for pneumonia?
now this... lol... okay then...
she probably should join ATS, she'd fit right in here.

obviously she was worried about getting assassinated by the Clinton clan and not the Russians because "the Russians did it" didn`t become a DNC slogan until after the election.
in the months before the election she had no reason to be worried that the Russians were after her because nobody knew about the hacks and NOBODY was pointing any fingers at Russia for trying to influence the election.
clearly she was afraid of the Clinton clan bumping her off when all the hacked Clinton e-mails started coming out.at that time all the talk was about the e-mails themselves and not about who might have hacked them or released them.

Actually that is a very good point. It definetley was not a thing in august/September at least not publicly.

Wha???
...Trump was talking about Russia giving up HIllary's emails -- if they had them -- before the election. It was in July, IIRC. The Russia narrative was totally well-underway before the election. Seth Rich was murdered in July 2016.
This script is not believable, but this part of the timeline is not part of that.

From what I've been seeing in liberal online groups, it's not taking nearly the root as conservatives seem to think it is. Liberals simply aren't nearly as outraged and upset as the right-wingers want to believe.

It doesn't say in the Post article what Ms Brazile believed Russia's motive might be for murdering Seth Rich. So it's a bit pointless to speculate. All we can learn from the Post's summary is that she was afraid Rich had been rubbed out by the Russians, and that she might be on their list too.
FWIW I can think of a very good reason (apart from the hacking) that the Russian government might have had Rich taken out. It would get blamed on Clinton and damage her even further as a candidate. As indeed, it has been blamed on her, by many people, as you can see from this thread and lots of others like it.
And yes, of course Russia knowingly plays into the US domestic market for conspiracy theories, as has been amply proven over and over since the end of WWII.
I don't understand why Brazil would be afraid of Russia if they truly wanted Trump to win though - she needs to explain this.

While not originally started by, or dreamed up by Russian propagandists, Russian shills and trolls have taken this story and run with it.
