I think it is a low estimate if I say it went at least 300mph, on the high-end 500mph. It covers some distance pretty fast.

Thanks for the additional information. I did not know it was that old. Still interesting as you say.

Age is but a number. Most of the best UFO videos are decades old.

It really hasnt been solved but it seems like there is plenty of empty land around this event so it very well could be a meteorite and its simply buried in a field.

Metal detecting anyone??

This was my assessment too. It looks larger that it really is due to the lights on it and the dark background. The "strait" path only looks that way do to the speed of the object vs. the speed of the shutter on the camera (or refresh rate in this case), and finally the direction may be a misgiven as it may only appear to be flying at that angle to the camera due to how the light is reflecting off of it.

If it was in fact a Cylinder UFO of any relative size, wouldn't the local airport have shown something on radar (or at least have a few mysteriously delayed flights at the time this "object" was seen? As a former MUFON Field Investigator (yes I'll throw THAT out there) I can say that without further evidence, this was just a bat.

If more data comes in to refute this assessment, I will look into changing my opinion, but until then I'll still with bat.

It doesnt look like an actual object to me. Not sure what it is, but the path goes down into the landscape and is still on top of everything, like its an overlay.

Ive seen videos where i said yep, thats a ufo, probably alien. I dont think this is even a meteorite. JMO though, im no expert.

I did a little research on bats because of this weird video clip. I don't think it was a bat:

Night-time flights are more elaborate than daytime ones. Bats continuously rise and dip in curved flight trajectories, using large movements to propel themselves.

Bats are more careful in their movements at night than during the day, and they are always at the ready to change direction quickly to avoid impending danger.

sciencenordic.com...

If bats are more careful at night, why would this bat be diving so fast in a straight line? Also, check out these interesting graphical illustrations of a bat pursuing prey (images displayed in link below quoted content). They rarely make a continuous, long dive. I've fished many nights at dusk and have seen MANY bats. Most, fly extremely erratically while chasing prey.

Two high speed infra-red cameras recorded the flights of the bat and mantis. Two ultrasonic microphones placed in the middle of the flight room, 30 cm above the floor, were used to record the vocalizations of the bat. An array of 16 microphones placed round the room was used to record sonar beam patterns emitted by the bats. The mantis was released from the indicated position, from a height of 2 m. (B) Graphical illustration of constant absolute target direction (CATD) pursuit.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

When I saw this clip, the first thing I thought of was a Nighthawk or Peregrine Falcon, which can reach speeds of 200+ mph in a hunting swoop. But when hawks dive, they only tuck their wings to the sides of their body for a short time. All hawks hunt in the daytime but some will use the subdued evening light for cover when pursuing prey. I doubt they would make a sustained dive at night, like the object in this video clip. I think this is not a bat, or a bird, but a genuine unidentified flying object.

Cylinders flying in Oklahoma? Reminds me of what I saw on the south side of Tulsa in my past ATS member life:

DOH, I stand corrected. Either way it's not a cylinder UFO any more, now it's a bird. Cool for the data, and thanks.

I was waiting to see a huge flash of light at the end of that trajectory. The thing looked like it was going to crash!

It's small considering the surrounding lights.
The straight line doesn't really make it easy to tell it could be something natural.

Although it's passing a parking lot with four side directional beaming spotlights that could lid something up that would fly by? If directional wind steams would go one way because of the open area it could be a small object that only illuminating because of those lights

I'm pretty sure it is a skyfish- they travel up to 1000 mph.
SOURCE

Flying rods (or simply 'rods' or 'skyfish') are flying linear anomalies caught (usually) on video, having not been seen at the time of filming. They generally have appendages along their sides. Their overall appearance is of a long straight stick with horizontal branches. Sometimes these 'branches' may have curved 'flaps' (called 'membranes' by some people) trailing behind. They occur all over the world and have even been observed being pursued by swallows!*** So what are they? Some people believe they are cryptozoological and represent a previously undiscovered form of life, maybe even of alien origin. Others think they are paranormal, perhaps related to orbs. However, many people think they are actually insects (or bugs) caught in the act of flying.

I once saw a spaceshuttle recording of several round giant UFO's going into the direction of Chicago. It was as if they became transperant and landed below, under the city. As if they can move through solid matter.. Just saying..incredible and unbelievable...but who knows what there is to discover when truth protective layers are removed.

I agree...it has the overlay appearance. Is this possibly a reflective light on the camera lens? Just a happen chance glare that reflected off the lens? It does not seem to be a solid object.

i'm gonna say aircraft, there is a airport 8 miles from the casino.
if you slow it down to 1/4 speed you can see it land. and turn to the left on the right side of the video.

here is a screen shot google maps, it gives three routes to the airport from the casino, notice how the curve of i40 goes back to the left just like in the video. also i think that it's a time lapse on the camera i know that my local news use cameras and tun the from a time lapse loop from the past few hours before the broadcast, also notice how fast the cars move even at 1/4 speed.

screen shots before and when on the ground,

before you say no no lights on the run way, i've been looking into that, could be low or med intensity lights facing the direction of the aircraft.
