So all the nominees can suck money out of their supporters and then turn it over to the DNC when the Queen is coronated...

Naw Bernie was smart he spent it on his own shell media company lol...A true socialist crook!

But I always thought he ran as a Democrat because he didn't stand a chance as an Independent and needed the party to compete for media attention, etc. Now we are hearing how he didn't stand a chance as a Democrat and the party cheated him out of the nomination.

If he had run as an Independent and focused on gathering the signatures, etc. to get his name on the ballot...

So, was it his message or running as a Democrat that earned him so many supporters?

I am so confused on the story with Bernie running as a Democrat and why and what was to gain.....

...and why on earth he still supports the DNC.

It's a tangled web of *whatever,* IMO. I still don't trust Bernie. Somehow he was trapped into running as a Democrat. They probably had something on him. That's how the world of political corruption keeps spinning.

Nice of you to voice your thoughts, your confusion and opinions, it would be nice if once you used facts to support your wonderful imagination.

Have a great day!

Very cogent post in a thread full of feculent lies.p

It just seems to me that Bernie had the DNC by the short and curlies with his polling numbers, pretty much right away.

All he had to say is, "I need more support from party leaders or I'll go independent and that will probably cause Hillary to lose the general election."

Even after Hillary was nominated, he could have done that and taken probably all of his supporters with him. They were chomping at the bit for him to fight back. He could have legitimately left the DNC, at any time though, and said, "My internal poll numbers and analysis say that I am better off running as an independent and can beat both Hillary and Trump." Instead, he sold himself as an independent who wasn't really loyal to the party...but his actions say he was loyal to the party and to Hillary winning, IMO.

Bernie always had ALL the upper hand in this scenario. From the get-go.

How is it that we are being sold the story that the DNC and Hillary had the upper hand? It just doesn't quite mesh for me.

(The 2016 primaries and general election seem like a 'scripted reality show,' and we've been groomed for years to swallow it all.)

Well, the fact is that I HAVE been confused about why Bernie ran as a Democrat and did think he ran to get more support and exposure from the party.

Geez.

ETA: If you have any evidenced facts that dispute my thinking and clear up my confusion...please post them. Otherwise, I assume you can't offer anything more than I have and you just want me to have a really great day.

ETA2: And that's always been the thing with Bernie supporters. When it's convenient for them, he is an independent. When it's convenient for them, he is a loyal Democrat that played nice to make sure the party won even if he wasn't the nominee.

That has never convinced me that Bernie is really an independent. It has convinced me he is a very-loyal Democrat, Hillary-lapdog, and an independent-poser for convenience sake.

Given the Clinton campaign gained control over the DNC it also means they gained control over the DNC finances. Looks like the answer to who paid the perkins cole lawfirm and for the Trump dossier.

Also for being in debt by 24 million dollars because of Obama its more perplexing that Obama would also donate almost a million dollars to perkins cole for the trump dossier instead of paying off his campaign debt.

Has it really got to the point that people can't see such blatant corruption for what it is?

Absolutely it has, just look around here and on the MSM.

People are to busy blaming the 'other' party and concentrating on the issues of the 'other' party instead of holding their own party accountable.

The crazy thing is that a democrats can never influence the GOP and vice versa , they can only influence their own party. Hence the cycle continues and keeps getting worse.

That is an interesting point you made at the end; that one 'in' group can never really effect the other 'out' group, only themselves... is that not true also for individuals? Yet still we seek to change in other people what would be best changed in ourselves.

If only people would stop to look around and realise that it is ALL of us that are having our pants pulled down by ALL of them (whichever side of the sea or, party line, you're on).
Then we would be empowered to change OURSELVES; our own expectations, what we are willing to tolerate and where we perosnally draw the line.

The day we manage that will be a monumental day of change. REAL hope and REAL change.. not the phony # those guys are pedalling...

exactly. To bad people are too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off and screaming at the other party, while focused on all the wrong issues and placing their faith on all the wrong people.

Oh dear,

Reading the Festival of Rationalization of WRONG Over Right herein, following the minefield design the Two Party System has laid out for all of US in this matter overall is a true sad state of affairs.

Well done.

Not gonna lie, these revelations confirm a lot of what I've heard and it's infuriating.

That doesn't mean I'm going to jump ship and start voting for the GOP though.

First you; voice your thoughts, your confusion and opinions, now you assume.

We all know what they say about assume!

assume = to make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'. ... Coining up a foolish, humorous insinuation about somebody or something that is probably not valid.

Is that all you have is clichés?

Read what I wrote: I said, post your evidence to the contrary of my thinking and to clear up my confusion...otherwise I assume you don't have anything more than me to offer.

Imma assume. I feel real good about it, too.

The Two Party System is the problem here.

The Rep's merely plays lip service to conservatives, and the Dem's merely plays lip service to liberals, all while they guide each others bases towards being too busy bickering to find a better way (while they both serve the same interests whom are the enemies of humanity).

But hey, keep on voting for that system. A vote for Democrat's is a vote for Republican's because neither wicked ruthless Party is going away as long as they have each other.

I have better things to do, than waste my time educating you on the wrongs of your thoughts, alleviating your confusion, negating your opinions, and debating what you assume politics to be.

Glad we can both have our own opinions, to bad yours are wrong! Lol's!!!
And actually, I was honestly wishing you, to have a great day!
