So 'they' were on to it and it failed, bawabawabawabawa...... So let's get it straight, they went to the meeting but knew all about it, while Donald junior only pretended to want anything he could get on the DNC...no, Hillary and Co, while the very fact they went there at all, is one of the reasons why all the shiite is flying into Trump seniors fan as we speak...ie, those pesky Ruskies, one of who carried a letter for Trump senior..the contents of which that Rusky didn't know about.
The Trump senior goes to tweety pie to announce about all the e-mails he had already publicly asked the Russians to hack the DNC..that he then forgot about asking, then true to form blamed that on anybody but himself, like here,

People need to look at the Hillary email timelines.

Her deleted emails were already recovered by the FBI by the time "Russians" were offering to produce them.

And besides that, The Clinton Campaign itself was self destructing from the email scandals.

Nobody needed any help to "discredit" Hillary.

Conservatives just can't get over the fact that Hillary lost. Even Hannity the other night, 'President Clinton...'

The current right-wing narrative is: Clinton and Obama paid for the 'fake' dossier and colluded with Russia against themselves to help Trump win the presidency AND further Russian interests here in America.

Did I miss anything? Conservatives need their bogeyman and Hillary lost. They control both houses of congress and the presidency. They control most of the state legislatures and most of the governorships. They have a slight edge on the SCOTUS but it's persistently RED ALERT!

Hillary Clinton losing the presidency was one of the worst things to happen to the conservative movement. Trump lost his planned media empire, gun sales are down and the manufacturers stocks are tumbling, the GOP has no tangible legislative agenda but OMG, you need to tune into Hannity, Limbaugh, et. al. to find out what deviousness the retired ex-secretary of state is up to today!!

I don't know how many of you listen to El Rushbo but he's already declared the indictments on Monday as fake. Like...they're not even real. It's a media conspiracy to hide the Uranium One deal that Hillary herself signed with Putin in the Kremlin. Or something along those lines.

Yes. It makes me sick to my stomach to read it. God I hate this methodology. The masters of this tradecraft are the reason our country is so divided. This behavior is antithetical to a healthy democracy. It's why there is so very little in terms of real debate over anything of substance.

ETA any liberal individuals following the same playbook to "fight back" might feel catharsis but they too are responsible for cheapening discussion and creating divisions.
