You seem to be mistaken on a couple of things.

He wasn't pulling into his own driveway.

The accident wasn't in Vegas.

You might wanna slow down and actually read things before you go off building an idea based off your own inaccurate "reading."

As I understand it, they were close enough to home that the daughter could hear the crash.

When she ran down the street and rounded the corner, a familiar vehicle engulfed in flames came into view. Dennis, 52, and Lorraine, 53, had died together less than half a mile from their home.

A google map view shows just how close that corner is...and it's very, very close.

They owned two homes, one in Henderson, Nevada and one in Murrieta, California. It was near the home in Murrieta, where the accident happened.

On the wife's FB page, there is a post & comment, on October 4, stating they were (back) in Las Vegas trying to retrieve the husband's phone. I assume they could not get it during that visit since the daughter says the FBI returned it a week after their death. How she knows that nothing was deleted on it though? I cannot figure that one out.

If this was the first I wouldn't think as much of it, however this is like the 5th death of Vegas shooting suvivors. One of them the lady said she was certain there were multiple shooters, and suddenly she dies in here bed. Another guy said he was chased by 2 armed men and got away. He is found shot in his home. Sure, sounds like everyday deaths to me.

Exactly, also why did it take 3 weeks to return the phone? What did any of that have to do with the story, other than to attempt to give FBI credibility for not wiping phones?

That was pretty much my takeaway, too.

Were they driving the same smart car as Michael Hastings?

Any reports of explosions or just the initial crash?

The daughter heard a "loud boom" and by the time she rounded the corner very near the house...their car was "engulfed in flames."

It's been reported the Carvers were driving a 2010 Mercedes Benz sedan.

Michael Hastings was driving a 2013 Mercedes C250 coupe.

I have been watching the news non-stop since I arrived back home to my family. And it just doesn’t make sense. The story that are feeding everyone doesn’t add up to our eyewitness accounts. There is something wrong with what they are saying & the evidence seems fake if you ask me. There are multiple people stating that there was a lady towards the beginning of the evening who had made her way up to the stage warning people that we were all gunna die her and her boyfriend were escorted off the premises. Why has she not been mentioned by authorities? Every single survivor I have talked to also remembers multiple shooters, and at least one from the ground why aren’t we being taken more seriously? Tons of things don’t add up.

Unlike in the movies cars rarely burst into flames from a wreck. This is the first time I have ever heard of a car catching fire from hitting a gate. Most car fires happen in the cold when driving down the road or due to electrical shorts. It is rare that someone dies in a car fire. You would think at least one of them would be able to get out of the car in time after hitting the gate. These gates have turns and speed bumps to slow cars down before entering the gate. These types of gates are hit all the time due to people trying to piggy back in behind another car.

Like many posters have said people die all the time and it is hard to tell from the limited information exactly what happened. Hopefully we will get more info about this. Accident reports are public record and we should try to see if we can get our hands on this accident report. I will do some checking and see if this report can be had on-line.

ETA: The report says 'along the sweeping curve' so I assume it was not quite at the pin, and further down that curve. But I said "approximately," so...

Not true. Look at it like this,if the Vegas shooting never happened,unless you lived locally you would never have heard about these people dying. Same goes for the few others. People die every day and we don't hear about it. We are only being told about these people because they lived through the shooting. I'm not saying something funny isn't going on with the shooting but I don't believe for one second people are being killed after the fact. Just not happening.

I've read online newspapers for the past 20+ years. There's never been a case where a car exploded and burst into flames simply because it crashed into a gate post.

Did the car explode then drift into the gatepost?

From the screen shot Mother just posted I don't see any speed bumps and they were not near the gate.

Check the autopsy reports....and people die constantly...I see em each day a an EMT.

Looks like things are still under development in that area...there may be more around there, now, than what Google Maps shows me.

What we would be looking for is this:

When Highway Patrol and fire officials arrived at the scene, they located a 2010 Mercedes-Benz sedan that had crashed into a metal speaker intercom and two brick pillars at the front gate of private, residential property.

I think what you posted passes for that description though.

Where is the sweeping turn? As mentioned Google Maps is probably not up to date so that would explain no gate system in the picture but I don't see any "sweeping turns" just sharp turns and slight turns.

I pulled my image off of Bing. There's also a fairly deep drain culvert in front of that post which you can see better if you manipulate the street view.
