Russia Russia Russia..wait!

Does this even have anything to do with Russia?

No wonder many prominent Democrats are distancing
themselves from this ridiculous witch hunt..

I disagree. I think that if it's money laundering from 2012 (as I've been told), it shows what a # show the mueller probe has been. If they had crimes related to russian meddling they wouldn't be hitting people for unrelated charges first. In due course they'd get to those charges, but right now they should be building confidence that this probe isn't a fishing expedition.

money laundering? trump juniors arrest warrant must be in the post then.

Riiiiiiiight, because a meeting in 2016 where manafort was not present is obviously tied to manafort's dealings from 2012 and earlier. I hope you were being facetious.

Unconfirmed reports that Podesta Group employees have
been interviewed and questions indicate they are looking
at criminal charges.

I have my sources and they're rarely wrong. Mark this thread down and see you tomorrow.

Use a little sense as well, when did they file this? Why would they file it just in time for the weekend if it's anyone else?

Mueller is pushing through this indictment because he has to turn in his expense records next week to show how many millions of dollars his 12 attorneys and 200 employees have cost u.s. taxpayers.

Plus, Republicans have been pressing Mueller to file charges or shutdown. There are much bigger fish to fry now.

This indictment isn't the end of the investigation. What's it been, 10 months or so? The normal time frame for the first leg of these type of investigations is around 17 months.

This is only the first round.

It is only the first round, *but* (big but) if what the OP contends turns out to be true, then you have to look at who Manafort was involved with back then, and it wasn't Trump or his campaign.

So if is going to the first round, then the odds are that any heads rolling in connection to what he did back then whatever it was.

Yea funny thing was that Manafort was working with Democrats in the Ukraine in some sort of lobbying with the Podesta Co and Leon Pennetta. I bet Mueller will not go after Democrats because he was hired by Democrats. It will be some obscured transaction charges involved with lobbying. Mueller is going to use it as blackmail against Manafort so he can agree to make up some lie about Trump. However, Manafort won't do it because he has nothing on Trump. Manafort only worked for Trump for a couple of months. They don't know each other before then.

They wouldn't indict Flynn, only because Flynn knew Obama and the State Dept was funding ISIS. He would take them all down with him. Then Trump could pardon him and only Democrats would face jail time.

Manifort isn't a close trump associate? Yeah yeah he just offered some advice that trump of course never took, then he was gone. No biggy. No association to trump. Rolls eyes.

All part of the plan.

In reality, Trump outed the guy.

That would make sense if he found out about Manaforts ties to Podesta.
I think the info came from Flynn.

Hmmmm...Buzzfeed again?!

"These 13 Wire Transfers Are A Focus Of The FBI Probe Into Paul Manafort"

The FBI's investigation of Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, includes a keen focus on a series of suspicious wire transfers in which offshore companies linked to Manafort moved more than $3 million all over the globe between 2012 and 2013.

The problem is, manafort doesn't have anything to turn over. He worked for trump for like 3 months.

I'm all for any of the politicians that have broken laws getting arrested just like any other person. Regarding the whole Manafort thing, I don't know if I buy that it is or is not about him yet. We'll see tomorrow if there was any truth to arrests happening then.

But I've been thinking about something else lately, hopefully not too far off topic...

With everything we know about how horrible the intelligence agencies have been and likely still are, why are people trusting them as some bastion of truth?

If Manafort was going to "flip" he would have done so already. No need to wait to be arrested. I'm sure he didn't doubt that Mueller would arrest him, unless he squealed on others.

Seems to me you have 0 to back this up, so until tomorrow, this post is a big "nothingburger" . trump is on a rampage right now, attacking everyone and everything on twitter. He always does that to deflect, so you alt right have something to focus on other than him.

Catch me up. What is Trump deflecting from?

Trump is trying to deflect from the fact that the Russian investigation found something worth prosecuting.

Even he doesn't know who got charged, so of course, he is worried. His followers don't know who got charged, so they are trying as hard as they can to make it seem like Clinton was the real person who colluded with Russia. If Trump and his supporters didn't use this tactic as often, I might not have noticed. But it is a pattern.

I do give the O.P. credit for pointing out a reasonable possibility, although it is far from certain. I am interested in seeing what happens tomorrow, and even more interested in seeing how people, including Trump, react to whatever happens.
