How about you stop deflecting from Trump and his self admitted tendency to sexually assault women because of his privileged position? This thread isn't about Clinton, Cosby or Weinstein.

even when we don't get into the allegations of assault, the way he runs his mouth is terrible and conservatives do tend to defend those comments as much as any of the other dumb things he says. not a good look for y'all.

I agree he comes close to crossing the line, even straddles it at times. Some would say that's refreshing that at least he owns it.

Personally, I'll gladly accept the "warts" because a hard ass is what it's going to take to change the course of the country, and I don't like the direction it has taken the last couple decades. The smooth talking professional politicians need to be taken down a peg and remember they serve the ppl. That's not going to happen with a Hillary, or any other establishment pol.

Are you happy with the country's direction prior to Trump? Honestly happy with it? Do you think it's sustainable the way it was? I'm not sure Trump can do anything either, but we'll see.

i was happy with the general direction, yes. entirely happy with everything? of course not. i just don't see trump pushing things in a good direction at all. he barely has any idea what he's doing and contradicts himself constantly. he's not a leader.

That kind of sums up the entire political establishment don't you think?

Its not a popular view I know, but I do think that Obama was a small glimmer of something decent but over the last few decades its gone from bad to worse.

Its going way off topic but all I will say is that there were several policy area's that I agreed with him on.

There were also quite a few that I did not agree with so much which I have posted on in the past.

The problem with the white knighting is lumping everyone to a standard that might be below an individual woman’s standard for what is harassment, assault, verbal abuse, etc. Standards can vary by case within an individual as well.

For example this person may not accept you or I saying hello twice.

This person might be offended if you do not put your arm on her shoulder as in a side by side hug when saying hello.

Or just as possible, the exact opposite would be the case depending on you or me as to what is acceptable. Me, I don’t try to judge what I am not a part of. I am not Trump so I don’t know what he has or has not done. I am also not any of these women so I have no idea as to their standards. I can tell you that fame (on any level) moves goal posts. You would not believe things that have been said to me in private. And the flexibility of standards in order to “compete” all without a word or action that would indicate such an event.


But all that aside, kerosene is pretty effective.

She did not recant. She down played the significance of her husband raping her, after she got her divorce settlement.

The divorce was granted on the grounds of “cruel and inhuman treatment” of Ivana. She also has been issued a gag order that bars her from discussing her marriage to Trump without his permission.

Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, responding to The Daily Beast’s questions about the rape allegations, said that “you cannot rape your spouse” and threatened reporter Tim Mak.
