Go for it! The Entertainment is very satisfying. It's little like reading Moby Dick. It takes effort.

It’s a brilliant book, pretty funny, and ultimately a great read, but I don’t think you’d be missing out. It’s a book that requires a dictionary on hand and is so dense. It takes time and effort. I would suggest reading his essays or short stories first, then you may just have to read Infinite Jest out of pure love for his writing. Then again, that’s just me.
