Here's the difference, no Jew is forced to read or even walk by Mein Kampf everyday. If you walked by a statue of a person everyday that believed you were subhuman and had no right to exist other than to serve your white masters, you may feel differently.

If we take down the statues then what?
Erect statues of crimefighting superheroes.
Comic book characters have been elevated to Icon status.
Lets put statues of Batman and Wolverine in the town square. That way when our kids go, "who's that daddy", you can say "thats an imaginary person on TV".
Oh no, you can't do that. Not cis-gender superheroes anyway. It would have to be characters that embrace the LGBT community.

Where else do we have statues of the losers. Not idolizing slavers does not eliminate all knowledge of history.
Do we have statues of King George? Kaiser Wilhelm II? Hitler? Yeah losers, let's all memorialize your standing on the wrong side of history.
Other vendors who attended Saturday’s event also said that someone placed what might have been a pipe bomb at the tent of one of the vendors. Buchheister and another vendor, Bill Wickham, both said the tent belonged to the owner of Haycock Wood Company, Arlene Scott.
“They make little camp stools and tables and little wooden toys for children to play with,” Wickham said. “What a nice place to put a bomb, where there will be a lot of kids come in.”
The IED is being described as located “in a highly-trafficked area during a peak time” by law enforcement officials.
This news comes just days after pipe bombs were found at the re-enactment of the Battle of Cedar Creek in Frederick County, Virginia.
Williamsburg is the home of several noted tourist attractions, including the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Busch Gardens. The College of William and Mary, Camp Peary, and the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station are also nearby.

I don't think you've read anything I've written in this thread. Pulling down a statue does not equate to ripping pages out of a history book. Can you please tell me where the Hitler statue in the US is? The leaders of the Southern rebellion were traders and losers. THEY DO NOT DESERVE OUR ADULATION. This does not prevent people from learning about them. If you can't see that difference then there is absolutely no reason to continue this conversation.
