That is the beauty of it, there is X amount of soulless stuff that never increases nor decreases and has always existed everywhere. This stuff reshapes itself for all of infinity to create something which imagines a soul and then the soul is created some place outside of this stuff. When the body falls apart the soul loses connection to it, the soul goes on and so does the stuff, forever separated.
