They're about the same if you watch the Paris and RIAT FLIR videos. They're surprisingly cool under IR. Under certain aspects the F-35 engine is hotter.

It was a joke. In multiplayer video games, sometimes people will sit in one spot and just shoot people as they run by, especially near a spawn point. It's considered a cheap kill, and players call it "camping".
