More weird pop culture connections to the Las Vegas shooting.

In the background of this picture of LV shooter Paddock and one of his brothers is a reflection of a computer screen showing the Powerpuff Girls.

In the 2005 movie Serenity is a scene where River, one of the main characters gets triggered by a TV commercial playing in the background of a bar. She falls in some kind of battle trance and goes all martial arts against everybody in the bar until her brother breaks her trance with a vocal command.

Here is the full in-movie (fictional) TV spot (Fruity Oaty Bar commercial):

There is certainly an intentional but not too close (copyright/trademark) resemblance between the Powerpuff Girls and the 3 girls from that clip.

Serenity is a sequel to Joss Whedon's TV series Firefly and he certainly likes to use mind control as a plot device.

Now taken on its own the Paddock PowerPuff Serenity connection may not look like much but taken together with some other puzzling details a really strange picture is forming.

There are the keyhole mirrors and butterfly pictures in the Mandalay Bay hotel together with interesting symmetric number symbols. See this post for details: 23 (keyhole) mirror 32

Most baffling perhaps are some frankly utterly bizarre similarities between the LV shooting and parts of the movie "Mars Attacks" (see thread currently linked in my signature).

Hollywood has lots of 'examples'...

Last century in the film, Telefon the "Russians did it". Hey, what a novel Cold War idea.

Movies aren't real. People want it to be like the movies because thats what they know, what they were raised on.

More extreme Internet reaching. Pretty distasteful, if you ask me.

It is distasteful to look for patterns beyond the MSM narrative and the commonly accepted idea of what reality is? And I thought we were on a CT forum and more specifically in the Skunk Works section. Sorry my bad...

Making a mockery of a legitimate tragedy.

You are forgiven.

Remember when ATS used to be about conspiracy theories? Pepperidge Farms remembers

I thought it was interesting at least! Seems weird that they would be watching the show otherwise. The new incarnation of it has more Illuminati symbolism too:

Yes. Ok. Powerpuff girls killed all of those people.

Great theory, not at all retarded or disgusting.

Go ATS 2017.

Better?

haven't been able to find ir but in the un cropped image, but in it you can see a kid in the reflection watching it on tv.
being he was sixty and his brother doesn't appear to be to much younger, it's one of their kids watching them, anywhere from 1998 to 2005.

He didnt say the cartoon was at all responsible, he said that it could have been used as an MK trigger, and showed a corresponding video depicting a similar occurrence.

You don't have to like it, but it's far more plausible than a man with zero military or firearms training setting up an elaborate camera system to massacre people with a ridiculous cache of firearms snuck past an unaware casino, while the man was supposedly out in his car, and the police changing their story.

Agree to disagree.

Yeah well the way you react makes me suspect that in Galileo's time you would have sided with the church because back then everybody just knew that the sun was revolving around the earth, right?

You will have to excuse me and my reaction.

I have a low tolerance for nonsense.

Enjoy your thread.

Might just like the powder puff girls?

I know a lot of full grown men/adults love those My Little Pony shows...and I do mean LOVE. With a passion.

*Shrugs*

This is way out of my field.

Where else can they find a better, easier and homely place to make up their lack of experience?

Disclaimer: my threads tend to be on the fringe side of things. I am well aware of this! There are several reasons for this. For one I don't like redundancy so I usually will only post if I think I found something interesting that so far to my knowledge has not yet been pointed out by others. Most people will first go for more obvious things like: Jeez, 64 year old millionaire, what's his motive?. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not criticizing. But when this became known it was clear to me that many would comment on this.

Another IMPORTANT reason is that I seriously doubt that our physical 3D reality is all there is to it. I think a lot goes on beyond that. One important part of that seems to go on in a more dream like state that connects and overlaps with "normal" reality. Here symbols seem to play an important role and events don't always seem to unfold in a chronological order, seemingly upsetting the concept of cause and effect. But I think that is because we only see part of the picture.

I probably should have included my reality ruminations in the OP but I don't want to bore the "regulars" every single time with it. And experience shows that the detractors read over those parts anyway without taking them in.Now if you want to take my OP apart you have to criticize it WITHIN that framework, else it just falls short and unnecessarily bloats the thread. You think my perception of reality are ridiculous? Fine but then what are you doing in my thread? Just move on and discuss things in more "rational" topics.

Are we good?

This sort of thing is exactly what ATS is for!

-Apparently you totally misunderstood what the OP is talking about.

He didn't suggest the Powder Puff Girls did this. Slow down yer fingers and read it again.
