Fake News!

There is no such place as 'Canada' and even if there were no one would want to live there with all that snow and extra 'U's.

As a loving child of Canada, is it weird that I am annoyed by the added u's in words?

Is it just me??

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Thanks guys!
The wife and my mom are in the kitchen.
We got a turkey, honey ham, gravey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cranberries, home made stuffing and buns, 2 different pies, cucumber and ceaser salad and snack trays.

It's a thanksgiving tradition to watch one of the Rocky movies.
So we just got Rocky Balboa started.
The weathers nice and the kids are getting along.
It's a good day.

I hope everyone else is enjoying their Sunday

My hubby made the turkey on Friday we couldn't wait we have been knee deep in turkey and sleep all weekend! Also it's hiding time as this week deer and moose opened up and everyone and his mother is journeying into our usually quiet bush. The cops are out everywhere pulling out of province vehicles over and large trucks with icechests and chainsaws are driving all over the roads. Lots of echoing gunshots off the hills and mountains here. Good time for football and turkey and sleep

Now I want turkey and all the trimmings. YUM!!!!!! Guess I'll have to wait until November.
For us, this weekend we had an Autumn festival which I didn't get to go to. I would have enjoyed seeing the crafts and whatever.

That's a psy-op as well. Turkeys are actually overweight chickens.

Well, that's wasn't a dinner as much as it was a contest of attrition.
I feel grotesque.
Knowing I was going to go full glutton tonight, I simply had a bowl of vector at 8 am for breakfast. Then went the entire day without eating anything.
as dinners aroma filled the air by noon, it was a matter of strength and sheer determination that kept me out of the kitchen samping everything.... not to mention threats from the wife to stay the hell out.

3 plates tonight folks...3 freaking heaping plates of greatness.
Tomorrow, we're going to do it all over again. But rather than having to wait for everything to be cooked, I can pick all fricken day long!

Have a great night everyone, I'm passing out.

I love left overs from Thanksgiving too! Like you said, everything is cooked and all you have to do is heat it all up. YUM!
