Bucket List Travel: Need Your Ideas.

As weird as it sounds, I am working on a project that seeks to send someone somewhere they've always wanted to go---all expenses paid. There's a hitch: there has to be a compelling reason that person wants to go. What is the definition of compelling?

Here are some good examples:

Someone who is losing their eyesight wants to see the Northern Lights

Vietnam vets wants to go back to Vietnam hoping to further his own healing

Since moving to America decades ago, an immigrant has yet to return home and reunite with family

A person would like to visit a place where someone they loved passed away

Someone who is ill has a compelling need to visit a place on their bucket list

This is a real project. We think that reaching out to others for their stories will help us to find the right person.

So many people in the world have special or important travel dreams and don't have the resources to make it happen.

Reuniting siblings that were separated while infants and live in different countries would make for a great union .

My sisters ex husband (who died) brought a pebble back from South Georgia, way down in the South Atlantic where the albatross roam. She always considered a life's challenge to return it - sort of laying him to rest. She'll never be able to do it.
