(CNN)Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, amid the fallout of the massacre in Las Vegas, turned the political spotlight on a gun bill that's currently making its way through the House. "The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get," she tweeted Monday morning. She wrote later, "Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again."

Is this in any way connected? I hate to jump immediately into conspiracy mode, but when something like this happens, I seem to always think, "What are the political ramifications of this?"
There is currently a bill being discussed about this very subject. Until this event, a good example of why suppressors would be dangerous didn't really exist. Of course it would make me sick to "know" that our leaders would kill innocents just to advance their policy, but being a member of this site, to ignore that would be wrong.
I fully admit I have not seen any footage, or even heard any audio of this event, on purpose. But the timing is suspect IMHO.
I really hope that is nothing more than a poor thought and some fleeting paranoia. But I feel better having said it.

don't get your panties bunched up. nothing is going to change, we've all seen this movie before...hand wringing and shouts of "we have to do something" for a few days, and then we all go back to living our lives.....same old thing, different day

yet everything she says or does becomes a topic on here, just to say how irrelevant she is...

I just wish my wife would iron, period. And do the laundry. And vacuum.
