I asked what the next news cycle would be, I suppose we have it

Well I asked what the next major news cycle would be about a week ago. And here we have it. I'm not saying I saw this coming, only that we'd have a large news cycle to dominate the current talk.

So long NFL. We now have a new topic.

What an odd event though. Such a long time line for a city with a large population and billion dollar casinos.

I put this in general chit chat because I want conversations, not debate. If don't think this is a conspiracy, just a horrible misfortune and mistake on the part of Vegas.

It's always something new just around the corner .

There isn't much more Vegas could do about this event. Maybe changes will happen all over because of this, but then we will have to worry about getting shot by security if we aren't paying attention to what they are saying, thinking that they must be talking to someone behind you..

How is Vegas responsible for this? The shooter planned it out over time, and his gf working with the casinos probably even made him less of a suspect when carrying in bags that concealed the guns. Basically he wasn't on anyone's concern radar, not even by friends or neighbors.

I'm probably just skeptical, but I'm just surprised the magnitude of this incident was able to happen.

Granted it's early in the release of information, I'm just surprised the amount of rounds were fired in the time line given. You'd think the people in adjacent rooms and floors would have reported what was happening.

Thanks for explaining. I'm guessing due to his said month long planning and cameras installed maybe it was an isolated floor at the time. As far as I know there were reports coming out of there, but due to the confusion, and multiple reports going on would assume that's why it was delayed.

Probably intentional confusion, as I mentioned before he was cold and calculated-with the setup of this, so he could fire off more rounds within that discussed up to 9 minute range. Two shooting vantage points, sickening to say the least.
