Smarter than the Feds. Remember the matrix? It will work because it had never been done before...

I bet the cameras were they to see when cops are coming so whoever did this could escape. The warning shot to the security officer was probably them "shooting" their way out. Once they got the guard to back off they escaped. There's a room next to this one they easily could have rented it gone into that one and nobody would be the wiser.

If that were the case, why even disclose the cameras in the first place?

Why not cover that up, too?
why did the police say multiple times he was filming himself and suddenly changed that story?

There are powder burns clearly on his face (in the pictures which have been repeatedly deleted for serious T&C violations)

I posted a EMT's medical observation (was an old EMT, not Paramedic) of the wounds.

Personally, I think he went down face first, and was rolled over. (Seems reasonable to me, upon a breach like this).

His grey matter didn't roll out until they rolled him over (to be face up).

I don't know, you'd be better off asking the police - not ATS.

A security guard was not a threat. A bunch of cops are.

But then, I'm not a suicidal mass murderer so I can't be sure.

If you're going to kill yourself you want to make sure you do so before someone stops you.
So why even bother shooting at the security? Based on your theory he would have just offed himself

Exactly. In every shooter the guy just offs himself before cops come why did this guy shoot at the security officer? Or what if the security off shot himself in the leg and was in on it? How else could he bring all these guns in? Why did security officer go alone?

could they have flipped him over without knocking over that perfectly placed ar by his ankle? His leg is literally a foot under it.

They do?

How else could he bring all these guns in?
In a bunch of suitcases.

It was a security guard with 2? police officers. It was not a lone security guard

Update on the graphic video..

I didn't watch the final 20 seconds.. but it appears that even though he was finding people alive and still breathing..

Whomever was in authority that he was speaking to at the end was telling him.. "listen.. everyone on the ground is deceased"

That's really messed up.. and that's very strange..

That is ultra strange

It's like "move along nothing to see here"

That is weird

Ok. He fired, and then he killed himself so he wouldn't be taken alive.

That's less of a mystery than why he killed all those people.

Why would a security guard approach the door before the shooting started? Why would Paddock shoot him?

Earlier in the night, a security guard approaching the door had been shot in the leg by Paddock. Police were notified of that at 10:28pm; SWAT didn't storm the room until 11:20pm. The guard is still in hospital and is expected to survive.

10 suitcases as reports would say. One bag which is clearly filled with Ammo in the pictures leaves 9 bags for 22 rifles and one handgun... really phage?

Ok I am just speculating here.

But when he shot the security guard, he was shooting out the window it seems and then turned and fired through the door.

After that he stops shooting out the window.

He probably is now looking at the cameras waiting for the cops to breach.

During the long wait, perhaps his adrenaline lowers, or fear or guilt or something sets in.

He can't take the waiting and decided to just end it.

Just a theory.

Honestly I think he was on drugs, if he was drunk or drug induced whatever we are thinking to make sense of this just may never make sense... fact of the matter is he may have just got drunk enuff to do something stupid and shoot at people.. now my logical brain wants to deny that but just maybe that was it. But that really does not explain the premeditation or the shock to all those that knew him to be a outstanding citizen, but we can't forget his father, which that had to impact his mantra in life yet was it enough to kill innocent people? I would escalate that thou merely towards hunting the authority...

He has to at least enter entry hallway to shoot towards door. No sight line from the windows

There were not two shooters in this building. There was only one, on the 32nd floor. One sick and twisted POS shooter, who was selfish beyond comprehension. He wanted nothing more than to create hate...and that's what he did.

He wanted to amplify hate he had in his mind, as justice (his perceived justice) for all the wrongs he felt had been done to him (but which he had brought onto himself).

Personally, I'd like to squish this doosh-bag's head under my feet, but I guess that's not going to happen.

He had to make just one trip to his room?

I don't see the problem.
