That isn't about following the rules at that point.

It is gang stalking.

ETA; it is human beings going out of their way to make someone else's life more difficult. I TRY to never do that...so inherently wrong and nasty.

So, you lost but still everyone gained in the deal. Cool. Now you can stick a dandelion in your front yard.

Sounds as though if they are not subject to the benefits you have a case for them owing the money back that they have collected illegally. You should speak to an attorney.

HOA - and liberals call the right Nazis
A bunch of power hungry slugs that just crawled out of the slime.
Thats it . All you can say about HOAs

I say your fault for living in an area that one exists.
I will never empower a group of Nazis by givin em power and money.

The bluntness of your statement should be a required coarse in mannerisms. We could call the class, How to lose friends and alienate people. I think there is a movie with that title already.

Naaa Gothmog is more like a porcupine. Prickly on the outside and all warm an gushy on the inside!

Some places HOA's are impossible to escape to get a home you can afford in a decent area. In other area's of the country we forget that.

I am blunt . And to the point.
And the word is course , not coarse ( although I pretty much am)
Think I give a rat's a** about manners when I speak the truth ?
Do you have any legitimate rebuttal for my post ? Or just spouting tripe ?
I think the latter.

Like I said in my opening post, we're a 55 and over community. Most people bought into our HOA partnership because they didn't want to live around families with kids. They thought the HOA could keep the neighborhood clear of families.

The law says that for an "55 and over" community, the community must maintain and prove that at least 80% of households have at least one person 55 or older. But our HOA rules are much stricter, only allowing visiting underage family members to stay for no more than 30 days per year. No underage "roommates" allowed! Only underage spouses allowed! You must be married! LOL

Homeowners are freaking out about this ruling, not because they care about the "common interest" of their neighbors, or the neighborhood, but because they're afraid they'll have to live next door, or around the corner from underage "young people"!

Me? I bought in because it was such a sweet deal, and the HOA said that there was no contract between the homeowner and them.......I thought they were wrong. So did most homeowners, so we kept paying and pretending.

I'm thinking the next step is a class action suit of some kind.

Well , I am 55 and older. If children get raucous , I still know how to speak to parents.
The rest , sucks to be you....

Why ? Live in a bad community ?
I like my neighbors. We all keep to ourselves other than if we have an issue or wonderful Cinco De Maya , children's birthdays , and Halloween (or what some call "Day of the Dead as well)
I have a wonderful Hispanic family as neighbors.
To get along , first you have to want to.

It has its moments. Rural Riverside County, east of Los Angeles, but certainly not as bad as LA. People here, in our little HOA walled community are mostly white, (some outspoken, blatant, old fashion racists, and not ashamed of it!) pretty old, rude, nosy and very paranoid.

Oh yeah, they don't like change!
