The ring of fire surrounds the gigantic Pacific Plate, slowly turning counterclockwise (northward) as it grinds against the south american and north american plates. The earthquakes in chili, then those in mexico are indicative of the pressure being applied to this 'turning' of the Pacific plate, ever northward.

From Chile to Mexico to... California.

This could take years or happen tomorrow. Been faultlessly quiet up here in the bay in sunny california since the 1989, 7.2 Loma Prieta quake.

Now I see the quakes moving north along the western pacific plate boundary and I think... when is it going to be our turn, again?

Kind of goes with some other doom porn I've seen that about some bad days coming up for the US.

Supposedly we'll have two major hurricanes back to back. Then before the cleanup for those is even done, there will be two massive earthquakes, one on each coast. Then what comes after that is a massive tsunami.

If we think that Harvey and Irma are the major hurricanes, then we're just waiting for those two massive earthquakes. That goes with your doom porn quite nicely.

Let's add in the Baba Vanga prediction about the last president, and, just for shiggles, the Edgar Cayce map showing the U.S. divided in half by the Mississippi river when the New Madrid fault finally shakes?

The ring of fire has never stopped doing what it does .
The activity just moves from place to place as the pressure is released and increased .
Wile CA could get the big one or Japan could get the next melt down in the earth point these events are local .
Now if earth got hit by a comet or we set off enough nuks in the right spot then it is possible the whole ring will let louse at once .
Other then that CA will not sink into the ocean as the plate is moving north west . So in a few 100 million years a chunk Ca will be up by Alaska .
The only natural earth events that can cause a world wide event are Super volcanic eruptions of such earth has 5- 7 of and well i just look them up turns out there are alot more then i realize and yellow stone is not the biggest
La Garita Caldera is in U.S., Colorado is number 1 -toba Indonesia, Sumatra is 2
yellow stone comes in a poor third .
Now there is doom porn for you every one is scared to death of yellow stone and by volume Number 1 Colorado had twice of yellow stone at 5,000 km yellow stone being 2500 km

Yeah, I read about this last year and it's probably, no is the most likely doom porn scenario I'd be worried about. It's a concern. The volcanos we can't see under the ocean floor that connect to the plates beneath. Not good!
