Adidas paying $100,000 to a player is peanuts. This scandal is worth a billion dollars in brand name recognition advertising. This story will be talked about non-stop for next six months maybe years. What a huge win for Adidas. This was probably the plan all along. No corporation allows hundreds of thousands of dollars to be spent without there being risk assessments and potential problems analyzed with contingency plans. The execs at Adidas love this result. Today's US laws probably completely protect the Adidas execs involved in these criminal activities. This is really amazing.

Wire fraud. Money laudering. OMG!

Some of those execs are facing jail time.
The fbi got involved instead of the ncaa.
That's not going to be good...lol

No idea what you're talking about but I DO love Adidas so I'll keep tabs on this thread to see if I can use some context clues to figure out WHAT is going on.

It's tough to understand without the OP providing some links, but he is correct that this story will be huge over the next few months.

The sports world is imploding right now...enjoy the ride.

Only due to the fact they all said Calipari would be the death of our program, and here we are Pitino being the death of theirs. It's been reported him and Jurich are fired but as of now the press conference announcement was that they are on administrative leave. Honestly as a Kentucky fan I liked the perception of competition. I'm a Kentucky fan, not necessarily a Louisville hater.

Possibly but I haven't been poking fun. If so i will take it in stride as it is not my burden to carry. I don't gloat over wins although losses upset me sometimes, but the end of the day I have no power to change the outcome.
