This is such a throw away, feel-good BS position. What if they were nazis, 'standing up for what they believe in'?

They would be Nazis standing up for what they believe in. If they acted in a way that required consequences, they would reap them.

The fact is, they believe in a LIE!

I find that most people believe in a lie of some sort.

Simply standing up for a popular cause of which none of these men know any actual facts, is not something to be proud of.

How do you know what facts these men are knowledgeable of? Seems like a huge assumption on your part.

The worst thing is they are perpetuating and normalizing the lie.

Given the facts, why would you be "protesting". This is why nobody can give a clear answer of what exactly they're protesting. When they do its, "unfair treatment of minorities", but that's never backed up by anything but their "feelings".

I disagree with it based on the documented facts which is all I have to go on, since I don't fight police in the extremely rare case I encounter one.

Many people have given plenty of answers as to why they or others may protest. The problem is that too many people are also unwilling to accept their answer and simply dismiss is...claiming "facts".

I disagree with it based on the documented facts which is all I have to go on, since I don't fight police in the extremely rare case I encounter one.

The facts show that it is entirely reasonable to suggest black people were/are being targeted or treated differently.

What we need to do is have a discussion on the issue, but too many people simply dismiss the issue, just as you have.

I applaud these officers for demonstrating that they too, are against police brutality and racism. To reprimand them, is wrong. Police should be against brutal policing and racism in the ranks. isn't that what we want? Police working with citizens raising real grievances, together, to make our communities better, for all?

The poster of this pic came into the station and here is what reportedly happened

The photo shows the woman kneeling between the two officers, all three with their fists raised, beside the caption: “That Moment when you walk into the police station and ask the Men of Color are they Against Police Brutality and Racism & they say Yes… then you ask them if they support Colin Kapernick [sic] … and they also say yes… then you ask them to Kneel!”

Colin sold more jerseys last year than anyone else, based on what I've read. You can't reprimand everyone who supports his peaceful protest. Being reprimanded for being against brutality and racism, is just wrong.


Community policing. Police are part of the community too. These officers should be commended. To them I say thank you.
