I noticed, I am sure that those behind this movement is also doing their best to kill the constitution after all the document that guarantee freedom also hinder enforcement of outside influences to change America laws.

I wonder how all those starving in Africa feel about these millionaire crybabies blabbering on and on about how racist America is.

Millionaire crybabies?

Yup, in other words, crybaby millionaires.

Your focus should be on the crybaby billionaires of Wall St and Big Pharma who "cry" daily to congress in the form of lobbying. But no, focus on the NFL, where the average salary is $1.9 million yearly (including the $25 million paid to typically a QB on each team).

What about the fact due to the violent nature of the sport they only last on average 2.6 years playing?

What about the fact they, the players, bring in about $30 BILLION dollars to their teams plus another 4-5 BILLION in ad revenue?

The hypocrisy of the right is mind numbing. Scream and yell how "they" are all losers, on welfare, contribute nothing but problems yet when "they" work and make $ they are millionaire crybabies. Yet for some reason robber barons, Wall St thugs and corporate America ass hats are just fine and dandy earning their "keep".

Someone protests, as is their right and y'all make ten threads about what losers they are. Someone robs the US blind causing a recession and it isn't the criminals fault, it is the idiots who believed them - and so they are A OK with the right wingers.

I though about that too.

So far we have seen how historical accounts has been attacked in order to erased them, now attacks to the nations anthem in order to stop patriotism, the best way to weaken a nation is from within.

They're trying to make Anti-American, "trend".

Protest is anti-American? Gee, I must have read my Constitution wrong... Who knew?

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

Is all protest "pro-American"?

Really?

Is Antifa pro-American?
Is Communist rallies pro-American?
Is anti-American protest "pro-American"?

The RIGHT to protest is pro-American.

But just because the right to protest is pro-American, it in NO WAY means that the content of the protest is "pro-American".

Jesus Christ!

And what are they protesting? Too many black criminals get themselves shot? (AKA violent black criminals should get to run amok)

And in another thread, I'm being told that racism doesn't exist.

Lol. K.

Okay, what are they protesting then? And for whom?

Dropping to one's knee is a sincere form of paying homage, humility and showing respect to America.

If they wanted to protest America, they would cover their eyes with one hand and hold up their middle-finger to the flag with the other.

I noticed that too, hiding behind the "freedoms" means you can be anti American.

It most be the crap they put in water, is making some very, very confused, either that or they are showing also here in ATS their agendas.

So you agree that they are not "protesting America."

In the 70's I wasn't "protesting America." I was protesting its role in an idiotic war.

I know, my husband is a retired Marine, some have it very confuse where the line between been anti American and disrespecting the nation and exercising freedoms ends and begin.

I also blame poor schooling.

The funny thing about freedoms is that they can be given away.

Those that publically disrespect, disregard our country are free to do so.

By that same logic, how do you propose that taking a knee must therefore be unpatriotic?

It isn't. Nor is it disrespecting our service members, their sacrifices or our country.

It is fulfilling one's right, one's duty to speak out where there are injustices.

Taking a knee is the act of standing up for the ideals of America, as many see it.

Has anybody bothered to sit back and think about how Trump's words (and wording) can be construed as manipulating the masses emotionally, to violate the First? Government is not supposed to have ANY say what we say, and yet, he did, and is actively fanning flames of intimidation & pressuring.

In a way, it's aiding & abetting him in violating the First.

This is a vile look for the former "land of the free".

They are not protesting the hundreds of black on black homicides, they are protesting a handfull of blacks shot by cops.

They are? I thought they were protesting that black lives don't matter enough.

It is pro-American to protest when violations against equal protection under the law happen, or injustices occur.

Americans protested the Brits during the Boston Tea Party. Our country was born in protest. Our Founding Fathers enshrined the right to protest in the Constitution.

How is protest in-American? This protest isn't anti-American at all - and certainly isn't intended to be.

Like I said, they and you can call it whatever you want and should have the freedoms to do so.

I will exercise my rights and freedoms by interpreting it as disrespectful and as anti-American.

I do have that right, don't I?
