The wind affects the Great Lakes a lot. it can move a foot or so of the water around. It just takes a few days of a persistent wind and away it goes.

we have had record rainfall this year and by record rainfall I mean more rainfall than in any recorded year since this year, and I have noticed the high tide level is lower this year so I`m guessing that a lot of ocean water is being evaporated and returned to earth as rain than in any previous year on record, around here.
