If the investigation ends up bearing evidence that General Flynn tried to make a deal, his chances of an immediate pardon are as good as Sheriff Joe's were.

Would not a pardon preclude Flynn not testifying under the Fifth Amendment? If he refused to testify could he not be held in contempt of court? Oh, wait, he would just be pardoned. Again.

so just like the charges against Hillary. Numerous but not anything worth prosecuting.

20 years on and there's still no charges against Hillary.

As for team Trump, we'll have to wait and see what if anything Mueller charges them with.
